A man from Štip was sanctioned after driving at a speed of 105 km/h in an urban area, recorded by a police interceptor vehicle.

Yesterday (20.03.2026) at 17:20 on “Goce Delchev” Boulevard in Štip, police officers from the Mobile Traffic Safety Unit at the Traffic Affairs Sector measured the speed of a passenger vehicle “Golf” with Štip license plates using a special interceptor vehicle of the Ministry of Interior. The recorded speed was 105 km/h in a populated area where the maximum allowed speed is 50 km/h.

Appropriate measures have been taken against the driver S.I. (21) from Štip, and he will face the legally prescribed sanction.

Traffic controls with special interceptor vehicles will continue in the coming period across the country.

We appeal to all road users to consistently respect traffic rules and regulations.
Only through responsible behavior can we jointly contribute to safer roads.
