The Police Department of Tetovo - The External Office for Criminal Investigations in Gostivar has filed a criminal complaint against S.M. (53) from the village of Negotino, municipality of Vrapciste, due to reasonable suspicion of committing the crime of "murder" under Article 123 of the Criminal Code. Specifically, on December 9, 2025, J.M. (34) from Gostivar reported that his mother H.A. (53) from the village of Raven, Gostivar, had left home, and later on security cameras, he noticed that on December 7, 2025, she entered a passenger vehicle "Fiat," after which she became unreachable by phone. He also reported that he had seen on the security cameras that on the night between December 6 and December 7, 2025, S.M. entered and searched his house, and that money had been taken from his room. On December 11, 2025, at 2:15 AM, S.M. was detained on suspicion of having forced H.A. to leave home with him.
After measures were taken regarding the case, and upon reviewing video recordings, it was found that the accused had given a false statement at the police station. Additionally, from the obtained call listing, it was determined that H.A. last had contact with him on December 7, 2025.
Later, with a court order, a search was conducted at S.M.'s home, after which his wife G.V. (48) was also detained.In a formal conversation at the police station, G.V. confessed that her husband S.M. had killed H.A. with a gun, and she indicated the location where she was buried. Following that, police officers from the External Office for Criminal Investigations in Gostivar, in the presence of a public prosecutor, conducted an inspection of the site in the vicinity of the village of Negotino where the body of H.A. was found. By order of the public prosecutor, the body has been sent for autopsy.
