On May 23, 2026, at 2:20 AM, police officers from the Veles Police Department detained M.A. (19) from the village of Dolno Kalaslari, and J.P. (19) from Veles, while at 3:15 PM, a 17-year-old minor from Veles was also detained. During a traffic control, a passenger vehicle, a Volkswagen Golf, with Veles license plates, was stopped, driven by M.A., with J.P. and the minor as passengers. The minor exited the vehicle and fled, throwing money and marijuana, which were found and seized.
A search of the vehicle revealed and seized marijuana, and M.A. and J.P. were detained, with a public prosecutor being notified. Later, with a court order, a search was conducted at the minor's home in the presence of a parent, where marijuana, a digital scale, a phone, and money were found and seized. He was taken to the police station, a public prosecutor was notified, and he was subsequently transferred to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Veles. After the event is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed.
