The Public Revenue Office of Struga has filed a request to initiate a misdemeanor procedure against the legal entity—the municipality of Struga—and against the responsible person M.Ķ. (65) from the village of Biđevo, for an offense contrary to Article 6a punishable under Article 11 of the "Law on the Use of Flags of Communities in the Republic of North Macedonia." The accused, as organizers of the event commemorating the Day of the Albanian Flag, which took place on November 28, 2025, on Marshal Tito Street in Struga, failed to display or set up the national flag of the Republic of North Macedonia alongside the community flags, neither on the stage nor along the banks of the Crn Drim River, which they were legally obligated to do.
