On 09.03.2026 at 00:05 in Skopje, in the Karpoš area, police officers from the Skopje SVR deprived M.D. (52) from Skopje of liberty, acting upon a previous report that on 08.03.2026 around 16:30 in the family home he made threats toward his 47-year-old wife, with whom he was in divorce proceedings, and toward their 17-year-old son, and also damaged his wife’s mobile phone.
On 08.03.2026 at 20:20 at the Skopje SVR, a 38-year-old woman reported that in the period from 06 to 08 March 2026, her brother-in-law G.V. (44) from Skopje had been sending threats to her and family members via mobile phone.
On 08.03.2026 at 23:20 in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje SVR deprived A.I. (65) of liberty, acting upon a previous report that around 16:00 in the family home in the Skopje area he physically assaulted his 62-year-old wife, using a hard object.
On 08.03.2026 at 21:00 at the Skopje SVR, a 41-year-old woman reported that around 15:30 in the Skopje area she was physically assaulted by her former partner Z.R.
On 08.03.2026 at 21:20 in Rosoman, police officers from the Kavadarci Police Department deprived a 69-year-old man from Rosoman of liberty, acting upon a previous report that he threatened his 44-year-old son and daughter-in-law. During the intervention, 1.40‰ alcohol was measured in his blood. He was detained at a police station, and the public prosecutor and the Kavadarci Center for Social Work were notified.
On 08.03.2026 at 14:20 in Kičevo, police officers from the Kičevo Police Department deprived R.S. (37) from Kičevo of liberty after he previously physically assaulted his father in the family home.
On 08.03.2026 at 16:00 in a village in the Vinica area, police officers from the Vinica Police Department deprived B.T. (58) from Vinica of liberty. According to the report, despite having a court order prohibiting him from approaching within 100 meters or making contact, on 07 and 08 March 2026 he repeatedly approached his 65-year-old former partner at the village store, went to her home, harassed her and made threats. During police measures it was established that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 3.30‰ alcohol measured in his system. He was detained at a police station and, after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
Measures are being taken to clarify the cases and, after their full documentation, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
