The Aviation Unit Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part today in the fifth edition of "SKOPJE AIR FAIR 2025," held at the City Park in Skopje, organized by the Association for Better Aviation "Avikon."
The event, dedicated to the promotion and popularization of aviation in the Republic of North Macedonia, saw participation from various aviation institutions, companies, and organizations. The Aviation Unit Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs showcased a promotional booth, where the work, missions, and capabilities of the police helicopter unit were presented.
Visitors had the opportunity to closely examine the police helicopter BELL 412EP, learn about the specialized equipment, and understand the tasks this unit performs—such as search and rescue, firefighting, medical evacuations, transportation of rapid response units, and other public interest operations.
Through direct communication with the aviation personnel, many young visitors learned more about the pilot profession, the training process, and the role of aviation units in supporting public safety.
By participating in "SKOPJE AIR FAIR 2025," the Ministry of Internal Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, bringing aviation services closer to the public, and fostering interest among youth in aviation.
