In the past two years, we have demonstrated that with professional, decisive, and non-selective work, concrete results can be achieved.
Today, crime in the country is at its lowest level in the last 20 years, and overall crime has decreased by 30%. At the same time, we have increased the efficiency in detecting criminal acts and their perpetrators to 69%.
In the fight against organized crime, we have dismantled over 30 organized criminal groups, and the number of dismantled groups linked to corruption has increased by 50%.
In the battle against drug trafficking, we uncovered over 1,600 criminal acts, reported around 1,900 perpetrators, seized 6.2 tons of narcotic drugs, prevented nine international shipments of marijuana and cocaine, and cocaine seizures have increased by more than 300%.
Concurrently, property crime has decreased by more than 30%, and robberies and armed thefts by over 40%, which means greater security for every family and every local community.
These are not just statistical indicators. Behind every number stands a prevented crime, a dismantled criminal network, a saved human life, protected property, and greater safety for citizens.
