On 05.01.2026 at 01:51 in Štip, police officers from the Štip Sector for Internal Affairs arrested S.Z. (59) from Štip. During a traffic control, the police stopped a passenger vehicle “Mercedes” with Štip license plates, driven by him, and after taking measures it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, namely with 1.66 per mille of alcohol in his blood. He was immediately excluded from traffic and detained at a police station.
On 04.01.2026 at 04:20 in Strumica, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs arrested P.T. (27) from the village of Dobrejci, Strumica region. During a traffic control, police stopped a passenger vehicle “Kia” driven by him, and it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.70 per mille of alcohol in his blood. He was immediately excluded from traffic and detained at a police station.
On 04.01.2026 at 01:45 in Strumica, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs arrested K.R. (56) from the village of Nova Maala, Municipality of Vasilevo. During a traffic control, police stopped a passenger vehicle “Fiat” with Strumica license plates, driven by him, and it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.61 per mille of alcohol in his blood. He was immediately excluded from traffic and detained at a police station.
On 04.01.2026 at 14:28 in Strumica, police officers arrested S.B. (27) from Italy. A radar check determined that he was driving a passenger vehicle “Range Rover” with Italian license plates at a speed of 124 km/h in a populated area where the maximum allowed speed is 50 km/h.
On 04.01.2026 at 13:13 on the main road A-4, at the Dukatino parking area, police officers from the Radoviš Police Station arrested V.M. (43) from the village of Dabile, Strumica region. A radar check determined that he was driving a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Arteon” with Italian license plates at a speed of 168 km/h in an area where the maximum allowed speed, according to traffic signs, is 80 km/h.
On 04.01.2026 at 16:20 on the Kičevo–Ohrid main road, near the village of Novo Selo, police officers from the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs arrested B.L. (29) from the village of Mešeišta, Municipality of Debarca, with residence in Germany. A radar check determined that he was driving a passenger vehicle “Audi” with German license plates at a speed of 188 km/h in an area where the maximum allowed speed is 100 km/h.
After full documentation of the events, criminal charges will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – “Reckless driving of a motor vehicle”.
