On January 17, 2026, at 8:15 a.m., police officers at the Struga Police Station arrested N.H. (44) from the village of Mislodežda, Struga region. During a traffic control conducted on the Ohrid–Podmolje main road, near the village of Misleševo, police stopped a “Peugeot” passenger vehicle with Struga license plates, which he was driving at a speed of 101 km/h in a populated area where the permitted speed is 50 km/h.
On January 16, 2026, at 3:45 p.m., on the A2 main road Kriva Palanka–Deve Bair, police officers from the Kriva Palanka Police Station arrested P.S. (25) from Kriva Palanka. During radar control, officers established that P.S. was driving a “BMW” passenger vehicle with Kriva Palanka license plates at a speed of 103 km/h in a populated area where the permitted speed is 50 km/h.
After full documentation of the cases, criminal charges will be filed under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – “reckless driving of a motor vehicle.”
