On 31 July 2026, at around 23:00, police officers from the Regional Centre for Border Affairs North, acting under an Operational Plan for the prevention, detection and apprehension of persons engaged in smuggling across the state border, arrested N.B. (27), H.B. (26) and E.J. (21), all from the village of Blace.
The three were found in the area of the village of Blace, more precisely along the border line between the village of Blace and Hani i Elezit, while loading smuggled goods illegally brought into the country from Kosovo into a Mercedes Vito cargo vehicle with Skopje registration plates and a Hyundai passenger vehicle without registration plates.
The vehicles and the goods were seized. The public prosecutor was notified and, following the documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
