Over the past 24 hours across the entire territory of the country, police officers arrested 28 drivers for "reckless vehicle operation." Of these, 25 individuals were found operating a vehicle without a driver's license (eight in Skopje, four in Bitola, two each in Veles, Sveti Nikole, Tetovo, and Kičevo, and one each in Delčevo, Kočani, Kavadarci, Negotino, and Kumanovo). Although they had an active ban on operating a passenger vehicle, one individual was caught driving in Čaška and another in Tetovo, while one person in Gevgelija was driving at a speed exceeding the limit. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We urge all participants in traffic to respect the traffic rules and regulations, to refrain from operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license, or if they are under a ban on driving, or if they are under the influence of alcohol. Together, let us all contribute to safer roads.
