Over the past 24 hours, police officers across the entire territory of the country detained 17 drivers who were operating vehicles without a license, including four minors, and two were also under the influence of alcohol. Four individuals in Prilep (a minor), two in Bitola, three in Skopje, and one each in Tetovo (a minor), Gostivar (a minor), Kavadarci, Negotino (a minor), Štip, Kočani, and Gevgelija. One of the drivers in Skopje and the driver in Štip were also under the influence of alcohol. One individual in Gostivar and one in the Prilep area were banned from driving. Two drivers were operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol in Prilep, and one each in Kriva Palanka, Bitola, and Gevgelija. After fully documenting the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We urge all participants in traffic to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver's license or if they have been issued a ban on driving, or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and together we can contribute to safer traffic.
