Today (December 29, 2025), police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained S.I. (65) for committing a criminal offense under Article 300 of the Criminal Code. Specifically, at 2:50 PM today, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that at the intersection of "John Kennedy" Street, "Maksut Sadik" Street, and "Macedonian Brigade" Street, a passenger vehicle "Golf" with Skopje license plates struck a child pedestrian.Immediately after the report, police officers arrived at the scene, where it was confirmed that the person driving the vehicle had left the car and fled the scene.After taking operational tactical measures, the individual was found nearby and taken into custody.
The injured child, due to the severity of the injuries, was transported by an ambulance to the "Mother Teresa" Clinical Center for assistance, where severe bodily injuries were confirmed, and the child was admitted to intensive care. After documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed against the individual.
