On 18 September 2026, at the “Qafasan” Border Crossing, police officers arrested F.Sh. (38), who, during border control, presented forged documents claiming to be an Italian national.
At around 17:30, while exiting North Macedonia in a passenger motor vehicle “Mercedes” with Kumanovo registration plates, police officers conducted a border check, during which it was established that the person had presented forged documents – a travel document, driving licence and identity card.
Following consultation with a public prosecutor, a criminal complaint was filed against the person under Article 378 of the Criminal Code – “Forgery of Documents”.
