On July 13, 2026, at 11:30 PM in the City Square of Tetovo, police officers from the Tetovo Police Department detained a 16-year-old from Tetovo on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal act of "aggravated theft" at the "St. Mother of God" church in Tetovo. On the same day, around 9:10 PM, he took money and items from the church. A public prosecutor has been informed, and in the presence of a parent and a representative from the Social Work Center, an official conversation was held with the minor.
