Today (17 September 2026) in Gostivar, police officers from the Sector for International Police Cooperation – Search Unit, Target Search Section, in cooperation with police officers from the Gostivar Internal Affairs Department, arrested E.A. (42) from Gostivar, who had been wanted after escaping from Idrizovo Prison.
E.A. had been sentenced to 12 years and eight months in prison for the criminal offences of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors” under Article 215 and “theft” under Article 236 of the Criminal Code.
Following his arrest, the person was handed over to Idrizovo Prison to serve the imposed prison sentence.
