The Public Prosecutor's Office in Kočani has submitted a criminal complaint against J. E. (51) from Kočani due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal act of "abuse of official position and authority." The accused, in her capacity as the acting director of the Public Municipal Institution - Kindergarten "Pavlina Veljanova" in Kočani, took an official action and exceeded the limits of her official authority by temporarily hiring an individual for the position of caregiver through a private employment agency for the period from December 1, 2024, to May 15, 2025, without the individual possessing a valid license for the caregiver position.
Through this action, the accused enabled the individual to gain a financial benefit of 164,824 denars.
