The Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking measures and actions within its jurisdiction to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the electoral process.
So far, no serious disturbances to public order and peace have been reported.
At 9:00 AM on "Dabnicka" Street in Prilep, police officers from the Prilep Police Department detained B.H. (72) and D.S. (36), both from Krushevo, in connection with the criminal offense of "bribery during elections and voting." In relation to the same incident, S.A. (28), M.A. (31), Sh.A. (40), D.A. (22), and D.A. (36) from Krushevo, who were staying in Prilep, were summoned to the Prilep Police Station.After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.Several reports have been registered regarding campaigning during voting at multiple locations, but measures taken so far have not confirmed the allegations in the reports.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs appeals to all citizens and political parties to contribute to a peaceful and democratic atmosphere. If there is any disturbance to the electoral process, citizens are urged to report it to the nearest police station or call the phone numbers 192 or 112.
