On 08 June 2026 at 12:30 p.m., a 36-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that on 06 June 2026, at around 7:30 p.m., her husband, R.J. (47), had threatened her at their home in the Skopje area. An official police interview was conducted with him at the Kisela Voda Police Station.
On 08 June 2026 at 9:50 p.m., a 60-year-old resident of Tetovo reported to the Tetovo Police Department that at around 4:30 p.m., he had been physically assaulted by his son, E.M. (34), in a hospitality establishment on Ilindenska Street.
On 09 June 2026, police officers from the Bitola Police Department deprived N.B. (46) from Bitola of his liberty after he physically assaulted his wife at their family home in the Bitola area.
On 08 June 2026 at 4:25 p.m., police officers from the Ohrid Police Department arrested D.B. (31) from a village in the Strumica region, acting on a prior report that he had physically assaulted his wife on Turistichka Boulevard in Ohrid.
On 08 June 2026, officers of the Struga Police Department conducted an official interview with V.S. (40) from a village in the Struga area following a report that he had physically assaulted his minor son. Additionally, on 09 June 2026 at 12:03 a.m., V.S. reported that his wife, N.S. (41), had been leaving their minor children sleeping in her vehicle while she went to work. Acting on instructions from a public prosecutor, police officers carried out measures and found the children asleep in the parked vehicle on an unpaved parking area on Vlado Maleski Street. The children were subsequently handed over to their father, V.S.
Measures are being undertaken to fully clarify the cases, and upon completion of the investigations, the appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
