From October 5 to 11, as part of the international campaign by ROADPOL "Focus on the Road," the Ministry of Internal Affairs is implementing intensified traffic controls aimed at the improper use of mobile phones, headphones, and other electronic devices while participating in traffic.
The campaign is simultaneously being carried out in 34 European countries, with a shared goal - to reduce the risks caused by distracted attention and to enhance safety for all road users.
Writing messages, making phone calls, checking notifications, or using social media while driving diverts attention from the road. Just a few seconds of inattention are enough for a driver to miss a danger and fail to react in time.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges all road users to be responsible and fully focused on the road.
Don't let a single glance at the screen be the reason for a traffic tragedy.
Drive carefully - keep your eyes on the road.
Save your phone for later.
