Following a prior report submitted to the SVR Veles by a citizen whose minor child was traveling on a bus with Skopje license plates, owned by a legal entity from Skopje and returning from an excursion, stating that the bus had broken down several times during the journey, on 08.05.2026 at 22:50, at the “Otovica” toll station on the Veles–Skopje highway, police officers from SVR Veles stopped a “Setra” bus with Skopje registration plates, driven by A.Gj. (43) from Skopje.
The bus was seized and taken to a technical inspection station in order to determine its roadworthiness.
The passengers were safely transported to their final destination with another bus.
After the case is fully documented and the extraordinary technical inspection is completed, appropriate charges will be filed.
