Today (28 April 2026), the Director of the Public Security Bureau, Aleksandar Janev, paid tribute in Bitola to fallen members of the police, whose names will forever remain engraved in recent Macedonian history.
These were brave individuals who, wearing the uniform and carrying out their duties honorably, responsibly, and without hesitation, gave their lives in service of the state and the safety of its citizens.
Through this act of paying tribute, a message was sent that their sacrifice will never be forgotten and that their memory will continue to live on as a reminder of the courage and dedication that define the police profession.
Special respect was also expressed for their families, who have endured the greatest loss. Their strength and dignity deserve lasting gratitude and respect from society as a whole.
