Today (28 January 2026), starting at 17:00, a protest organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM) will take place. The route of the protest will begin in front of the SSM building on “Mirče Acev” Street, then proceed left along “Filip II of Macedon” Street, right onto “11th October” Street, straight along “Dimitrie Čupovski” Street, right onto “Vasil Glavinov” Street, straight along “VMRO” Boulevard, and left onto “Ilinden” Boulevard, ending in front of the Government building.
For these reasons, the Traffic Safety Unit will implement a special traffic regime on the above-mentioned roads in the city of Skopje.
The Ministry of Interior appeals to citizens to comply with the instructions issued by police officers on the roads where the protest participants will be moving.
