On 08.05.2026 at 10:30, in a village in the Radoviš Municipality area, police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Radoviš Police Department deprived a 54-year-old resident of the village of his liberty following a prior report that he had behaved aggressively toward his 78-year-old mother. The individual was detained at the Radoviš Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Radoviš was informed about the incident.
On 08.05.2026 at 19:40, police officers from SVR Kumanovo deprived H.S. (46) from a village in the Kumanovo area of his liberty after he physically assaulted his mother.
On 08.05.2026 at 18:35 in Struga, police officers from the Struga Police Department deprived A.B. (53) from Struga of his liberty following a prior report that he had physically assaulted his 50-year-old wife in the family home.
On 08.05.2026 at around 21:30 in Ohrid, police officers from SVR Ohrid deprived H.R. (45) from Ohrid of his liberty following a prior report that he had physically assaulted his 50-year-old wife in the family home, using a hard object during the attack.
On 08.05.2026 at 19:30, police officers from SVR Tetovo deprived N.D. (44) from Tetovo of his liberty following a prior report that he had threatened his former 34-year-old wife.
Measures are being undertaken to fully clarify the cases, and after complete documentation, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
