Action control to combat the illegal sale of pyrotechnics: 2,141 pieces of pyrotechnic materials seized at Skopje's Bit Pazar, appropriate charges will follow

Today (December 10, 2025), police officers from the Skopje Police Department - Bit Pazar Station discovered 2,141 pieces of pyrotechnic materials at the entrance of Bit Pazar, which were set up on an improvised stall. The pyrotechnic materials have been confiscated, and measures are being taken to locate the individual selling them, after which appropriate charges will be filed. In the upcoming period, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to take measures and actions to prevent illegal trade in pyrotechnics. 

We urge citizens, if they notice individuals selling pyrotechnic materials, to report it to a police station or call the numbers 112 and 192.
