On 29/30 November 2025, the Kičevo Police Department (OVR Kičevo) and the Regional Center for Border Affairs – West, in coordination with the State Market Inspectorate and the State Labor Inspectorate, conducted an intensified operational inspection in hospitality establishments in Kičevo based on a previously prepared plan.
During the inspection of a hospitality facility located on the Kičevo–Ohrid main road, the authorities found Dž.R. (23), working as a singer, and K.Dž. (27), E.P. (25), F.J. (28), and I.K. (24), performing as members of a music band — all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They were performing work without having previously obtained the appropriate work permit, thereby committing a misdemeanor under Article 23, Paragraph 3 of the Law on Foreigners (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 97/2018 and 108/2019), punishable under Article 217, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the same law.
For this violation, a misdemeanor charge has been filed against them with the Basic Court in Kičevo.
