On 30.01.2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived A.E. (24) and a 17-year-old, both from Skopje, of their liberty after marijuana was found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 29.01.2026 at around 17:00, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that on “11th October” Street in Skopje a passenger vehicle struck pedestrian B.I. (38) from Skopje, after which the driver left the scene. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the City General Hospital “St. Naum Ohridski.” An on-site investigation was conducted and measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 30.01.2026 at 23:50 in the Center area of Skopje, near a hospitality facility, police officers detained I.S. (24) from Skopje for aggressive behavior toward police officers performing official duties. After full documentation, an appropriate report will follow.
On 30.01.2026 around 21:00, A.S. (52) from Skopje reported that at about 18:00 at a bus stop in Karposh, two minors threatened and took money from her minor son. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 31.01.2026 at 03:22, a 49-year-old woman reported that in the Gjorche Petrov area an unknown person threw two glass bottles with an unknown liquid at her family house after setting them on fire. One bottle fell in the yard near a parked cargo vehicle, and the other on the terrace, causing a fire. The fire was extinguished by family members. No injuries were reported. An investigation was conducted and measures are ongoing.
On 30.01.2026 at 15:45, V.P. (47) from Skopje reported that on 29.01.2026 around 19:00 near a high school in Center, after a prior misunderstanding, his minor daughter was physically attacked by a female classmate. Measures are being taken.
On 30.01.2026 at 14:06, A.Lj. (36) from Skopje reported that he was physically assaulted by one person in a casino in the Aerodrom municipality area. Measures are being taken.
On 30.01.2026 at 21:00, N.K. (38) from Skopje reported that around 16:00 in Kisela Voda four persons threatened her minor son with a sharp object and took money from him, and one of them also physically assaulted him. Measures are being taken.
On 30.01.2026 around 16:00, it was reported that at a construction site in Gjorche Petrov, M.D., while reversing a delivery van, struck D.Z. (51) from Skopje who was standing behind the vehicle near a fence. He sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex. Measures are being taken.
On 30.01.2026 at 16:00, at the Gostivar Police Station, Albanian citizen B.I. (58) was detained. He had previously been arrested at the Blato border crossing based on a warrant issued by the Gostivar Criminal Affairs Office in connection with the crimes of theft and aggravated theft. At 19:30 he was brought before the Gostivar Basic Court, which ordered 8 days of detention.
On 30.01.2026 at 23:40 in Veles, officers from the drug trafficking unit deprived I.N. (33) from Skopje of liberty after marijuana and a white powdery substance were found in his vehicle. A court-ordered search of his residence also found a white powdery substance. A prosecutor was notified and charges will follow.
On 30.01.2026 at 09:25, B.P. (63), residing in Star Karaorman, reported that in the area of Gorno Trogjerci he was physically attacked with a hard object by M.N. Measures are being taken.
On 30.01.2026, emergency medical services from Pehchevo reported that D.B. (27) from Pehchevo was brought in with serious injuries sustained while performing work duties at a company. A labor inspector was notified.
The Kumanovo Police Department filed criminal charges against R.D. (31) from Skopje for enabling the use of narcotic drugs. On 08.05.2025 in Kumanovo, marijuana was found with him, and a bottle of methadone with his passenger, which he had enabled him to use.
The Strumica Police Department submitted a report under the Law on Justice for Children against three minors from Strumica for violence against a child. On 29.12.2025 they physically attacked a classmate at and outside a primary school.
The Bitola Police Department filed charges against I.G. (27) from Bitola for illegal manufacture, possession and trade of weapons. On 08.12.2024 in a nightclub in the Old Bazaar he possessed an unauthorized .22 LR pistol with two factory serial numbers.
The Gostivar Criminal Affairs Office filed charges against Z.S. (40) from Skopje and J.S. (36) from Gostivar for arbitrariness and endangering security. On 23.01.2026 they seized travel documents from two persons and threatened their lives over unresolved debt-credit relations.
The Berovo Criminal Affairs Office filed charges against I.A. (37) from Berovo for causing general danger after firing an air rifle pellet toward a weekend house near Berovo Lake on 05.03.2025.
The Kumanovo Police Department filed charges against S.V. (46) from Romanovce for serving alcohol to a child. During an inspection at a hospitality facility, a minor was found in severe alcohol intoxication and unconsciousness.
