On 27/28 December 2025 in Skopje, at various locations, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived A.S. (43), A.V. (34), Sh.R. (19), D.P. (25), A.I. (25), B.T. (41), B.D. (44), M.Z. (24), P.K. (20), M.C. (42) and the 18-year-old M.K., all from Skopje, as well as K.Z. (28) from Gevgelija, of their liberty after white powdery substance, powdery substance and marijuana were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate reports will follow.
On 27 December 2025, at the Glumovo toll station, police officers from the Mobile Unit for Compensatory Measures within the Department for Border Affairs and Migration deprived Sh.M. (32) from the village of Ljuboten, Skopje region, of his liberty. Police officers stopped a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Touran” with Skopje registration plates driven by Sh.M., and during the inspection of the vehicle found 100 packages of 500 grams of branded shredded tobacco without appropriate documentation. The tobacco was seized, the person was arrested, and after documentation of the case an appropriate report will be filed.
On 27 December 2025 at 20:45 in the village of Mavrovo, police officers from the Mavrovo Police Department deprived B.D. (33) from Gostivar of his liberty. He is suspected of having committed several criminal offenses of aggravated theft in weekend houses in Mavrovo over the past two weeks. He was detained at a police station and after documentation of the case an appropriate criminal report will be filed against him.
On 27 December 2025 at 16:00 at the City Square in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo detained N.M. (55) from the village of Chelopek, Tetovo region, after various pyrotechnic items were found and seized from her. She was detained at a police station and after documentation of the case an appropriate report will be filed against her.
On 27 December 2025 at 10:25, SVR Ohrid received a report that on the Ohrid–Kichevo highway under construction, near the entrance to the village of Trebenishta, Debarca Municipality, a traffic accident occurred involving a passenger vehicle “Renault Megane” with Ohrid registration plates driven by V.P. (47) from Ohrid, a passenger vehicle “Hyundai” with Skopje registration plates driven by Z.S. (59) from Skopje, and a passenger vehicle “Renault Kangoo” with Ohrid registration plates driven by N.Gj. (67) from the village of Trebenishta. In the accident, D.S. (59) from Skopje, a passenger in the “Hyundai,” sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver Z.S. sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Special Hospital “St. Erasmus” in Ohrid. A scene investigation was carried out by a team from SVR Ohrid, and after measures were taken, at 12:55 the driver V.P. was deprived of his liberty after it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.25 promille of alcohol in his blood. After full documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against him under Article 300 of the Criminal Code.
On 27 December 2025 around 14:30 at the Qafasan Border Crossing, police officers deprived V.K. (41) from the Republic of Albania of his liberty. During border checks and passport control, he offered a bribe to a police officer by leaving money through the service window. He was taken to a police station and after full documentation of the case an appropriate report will be filed against him.
On 27 December 2025 around 21:40, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of SVR Skopje deprived B.B. from Skopje of his liberty due to the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors” under Article 215 of the Criminal Code. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate submission will be filed against the person.
On 28 December 2025 around 03:20, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of SVR Skopje on “Cvetan Dimov” Street in Skopje deprived four minors, all from Skopje, of their liberty on suspicion that they had previously committed the criminal offense of theft. Namely, they had forcibly taken a handbag containing documents and a payment card from a female person. The persons were taken to the Bit Pazar Police Station and after full documentation of the case appropriate reports will be filed against them.
On 28 December 2025 around 01:00, the Strumica Police Station received a report that on the main road Strumica–Novo Selo, near the village of Dabile, Strumica region, a traffic accident occurred involving a passenger vehicle “Honda” with Strumica registration plates driven by K.C. (42) from the village of Dobrashinci, a passenger vehicle “Peugeot” with Skopje registration plates driven by D.D. (27) from the village of Drazhevo, and a passenger vehicle “Ford” with Skopje registration plates driven by N.V. (39) from the village of Turnovo. In the accident, driver K.C. sustained serious bodily injuries, while driver D.D. sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Medical Center in Strumica. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from the Strumica Police Station.
On 27 December 2025 at 16:00 at “Metodija Andonov Chento” Square in Prilep, police officers from OVr Prilep deprived S.M. (48), L.M. (36), Z.M. (49), M.M. (36) and M.O. (41), all from Prilep, of their liberty. They were caught selling pyrotechnic items, and approximately 900 pyrotechnic items were seized from them. After documentation of the event, appropriate reports will be filed against them.
On 27 December 2025 at 16:13, SVR Shtip received a report that on the main road Shtip–Kochani, at the exit of the village of Chardaklija, Shtip region, a traffic accident occurred involving a passenger vehicle “Peugeot 607” with Radovish registration plates driven by V.A. (28) from Radovish and a cargo vehicle “Ford Transit” with Kochani registration plates driven by M.J. (60) from the village of Gorno Podlog. In the accident, driver V.A. sustained serious bodily injuries, while driver M.J. and his two passengers L.J. (58) from the village of Gorno Podlog and C.Z. (62) from the village of Chiflik sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Shtip. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from SVR Shtip.
OVR Gevgelija filed criminal charges against D.D. (52) and A.D. (18), both from Gevgelija, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 17 December 2025, police officers conducted searches at two locations in the village of Bogorodica, Gevgelija region, where the reported persons were staying, during which marijuana and cannabis seeds were found and seized.
On 27 December 2025 at 10:20 in Prilep, police officers from OVR Prilep deprived I.D. (42) from Prilep of his liberty, who was wanted by order of the Basic Court in Prilep to serve a prison sentence of one year. The person was transferred to the Bitola Prison to serve the sentence.
On 27 December 2025 at 16:15, SVR Kumanovo received a report that at an intersection on the main road Kumanovo–Kriva Palanka, in the Karposh neighborhood in Kumanovo, a traffic accident occurred involving a passenger vehicle “Dacia” with Kumanovo registration plates driven by V.A. (58) from Kumanovo and a passenger vehicle “Seat” with Kriva Palanka registration plates driven by T.T. (27) from the village of Konopnica. In the accident, the 28-year-old J.T. from Skopje, a passenger in the “Seat,” sustained serious bodily injuries, while driver T.T. and a minor passenger from the same vehicle sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kumanovo. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from SVR Kumanovo.
On 28 December 2025 at 01:00, SVR Kumanovo received a report that on the regional road village of Lipkovo–village of Otla, Kumanovo region, a passenger vehicle “Seat” with Kumanovo registration plates driven by K.N. (22) from the village of Otla ran off the road and hit a garage wall. In the accident, the driver sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kumanovo. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from SVR Kumanovo.

On 27 December 2025 at 18:48, OVR Sveti Nikole received a report that on a regional road in the village of Kadrifakovo, Sveti Nikole region, a traffic accident occurred involving a cargo vehicle “Mercedes” with Vinica registration plates driven by I.M. (45) from Kochani and a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” with Shtip registration plates driven by A.M. (44) from Shtip. In the accident, driver A.M. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Shtip, and it was established that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 2.56 promille of alcohol in his blood. Due to the severity of the injuries, he was transferred to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center in Skopje. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from OVR Sveti Nikole.
On 26 December 2025 at 12:30, SVR Skopje received a report that on “Grigor Prlichev” Street in Skopje, a passenger vehicle “Seat” with Skopje registration plates driven by S.R. (52) from Kosovo, with temporary residence in the village of Aracinovo, Skopje region, hit three parked vehicles (“Citroen,” “Chevrolet,” and “Peugeot”), three containers, and a moving passenger vehicle “Suzuki” driven by A.J. (24) from Skopje, after which he continued driving and at the intersection of “Krste Petkov Misirkov” Boulevard and “Goce Delchev” Boulevard hit a traffic light and another moving passenger vehicle “Audi” driven by S.G. (29) from the village of Dolno Lisiche. In the accident, driver S.R. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. A public prosecutor was informed, and a scene investigation was conducted by a team from SVR Skopje.

On 28 December 2025 at 02:10, OVR Gostivar received a report that in the village of Dobridol, Vrapchishte Municipality, a passenger vehicle “Suzuki” with Gostivar registration plates driven by E.A. (54) from the village of Dobri Dol crashed into the gate of a house yard owned by M.S. In the accident, the driver sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Medical Center in Gostivar. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from OVR Gostivar.
On 27 December 2025 at 21:17, SVR Skopje received a report that on “International Brigades” Street in Skopje a fire broke out on a passenger vehicle “Peugeot” with Skopje registration plates, owned by a legal entity. There were no injured persons, and a team from the Skopje Fire Brigade extinguished the fire. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from SVR Skopje.
On 27 December 2025 at 11:00, SVR Skopje received a report that on “Naroden Front” Street in Skopje, a passenger vehicle “Skoda” with Skopje registration plates driven by a 53-year-old woman from Skopje hit pedestrian M.N. (31) from Skopje. In the accident, the pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. A scene investigation was conducted by a team from SVR Skopje.
