On 27/28 February 2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived G.K. (31), S.J. (48) and N.M. (31), all from Skopje, of their liberty after marijuana, a pistol and 13 rounds of ammunition were found and seized from them. Upon full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.

On 27 February 2026 at around 06:10 a.m., it was reported to the Bitola Police Department that a traffic accident had occurred on the local road to the village of Obednik, Demir Hisar area, in which a “Hyundai” passenger vehicle with Demir Hisar registration plates, driven by S.S. (45) from the village of Obednik, ran off the roadway. After the accident, S.S. was transported by Emergency Medical Services to the Clinical Hospital in Bitola, where serious bodily injuries were confirmed. An on-site inspection was conducted by a team from the Bitola Police Department.

On 28 February 2026 at 02:00 a.m., it was reported to the Prilep Police Department that a traffic accident had occurred on the Prilep–Makedonski Brod road between an “Audi” passenger vehicle with Prilep registration plates, driven by F.I. from the village of Debreshte, and a “BMW” passenger vehicle with Prilep registration plates, driven by E.Sh. from the village of Debreshte. Following the accident, a 17-year-old passenger from the “Audi” was taken to the General Hospital in Prilep, where serious bodily injuries were diagnosed. The scene was inspected by a team from the Makedonski Brod Police Department.

The Ohrid Police Department filed a criminal complaint against B.A. (33) from Skopje on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” He allegedly unlawfully procured marijuana and cannabis seeds, repackaged them into smaller quantities and illegally sold them in order to obtain unlawful financial gain. During a search of his vehicle, 27 cannabis seeds were found and seized, and subsequently, during a court-ordered search of his apartment in Ohrid, marijuana was also found and confiscated.

On 27 February 2026 at around 10:30 p.m. in Skopje, in the Centar area, police officers stopped a passenger vehicle driven by Z.T. (33) from Skopje, in which two minor girls were present. He was acquainted with them from before but was not related to them. He was deprived of his liberty and an official interview was conducted at a police station. Interviews were also conducted with the two minors in the presence of their parents, a defense attorney and a professional team from the Inter-Municipal Center for Social Work. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case, after which an appropriate submission will follow.

On 27 February 2026 at around 2:00 p.m., it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that in the Karposh area a 16-year-old minor girl had been found unconscious. She was transported to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex for medical assistance. A small bottle containing white powder and a white clumped substance were found in her possession, and she was accompanied by P.S. (18) from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 27 February 2026 at 8:40 p.m., J.B. (33) from the village of Palatica reported to the Tetovo Police Department that he had been physically assaulted by M.I. and J.S., both from the same village, and later again assaulted by J.S. and R.S. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 27 February 2026 at 4:30 p.m., T.D. (47) and P.T. (47) from Tetovo, the latter a coach of a children’s football club, reported violence during a sports match. According to the report, during a match at a stadium in Tetovo between the teams Dardania and Fit-Kid, several individuals attempted to attack players from the Fit-Kid team. In connection with the incident, H.M. (48) from Tetovo was deprived of his liberty, and he also insulted police officers. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 27 February 2026, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that on 24 February 2026, in the Shuto Orizari area, following a prior argument between two minors, M.H. (22), I.H. (23) and R.H. (46) physically assaulted one of the minors. It was later reported that a breach of public order and peace occurred involving a physical altercation between I.Z. (54) and R.Z. (36) on one side and M.H. and I.H. on the other, all from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Bitola Police Department filed a criminal complaint against G.N. (47) from Bitola on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 12 February 2026 in Bitola, police officers conducted a search of the suspect’s home, during which heroin and marijuana were found and seized.

On 27 February 2026 at 4:30 p.m., a 22-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that around noon at her home in the Drachevo area she had been physically assaulted by her common-law partner S.S. (22) from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 27 February 2026 at 5:30 a.m., at the Deve Bair Border Crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers deprived Z.A. (55) from the Republic of Türkiye of his liberty. He was driving a “DAF” truck with a semi-trailer bearing Turkish national registration plates. During border control, it was established that the international green insurance card for the semi-trailer that he presented was forged. He was handed over to police officers from the Kriva Palanka Police Station for further proceedings.
