On August 25, 2026, at 9:50 a.m., the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs (SVR Tetovo) was notified that a traffic accident had occurred on the regional road Tetovo–village of Pirok, Tetovo area, involving a passenger vehicle, a Volkswagen Up with Tetovo license plates, driven by A.B. (23) from the village of Pirok, and a tractor with Tetovo license plates, driven by Dz.A. (54), also from the village of Pirok. The tractor driver sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver of the Volkswagen and his passenger, K.F. (28) from the village of Pirok, sustained bodily injuries. Their injuries were confirmed at Tetovo Clinical Hospital. An inspection was carried out by an SVR Tetovo investigation team.

(37) from Skopje due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On August 17, 2026, police officers conducted a search of the suspect, during which marijuana was found and confiscated.

(42) from Ohrid, following a prior report that he had been making threats and behaving aggressively toward family members in the family home. On August 24, 2026, at 9:30 p.m., the Novaci Police Department was notified that, while extinguishing a fire in the area of the villages of Armatush and Meglenci, Municipality of Novaci, two artillery shells had been discovered. The shells were safely removed by a bomb-disposal technician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue on August 25, 2026. It was determined that they were two artillery shells, one 155 mm and the other 75 mm in caliber, dating from World War I.
The Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against D.J. (34) from Prilep due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On February 27, 2026, in Prilep, police officers searched a person from Prilep and found and confiscated marijuana and methamphetamine, which that person had allegedly obtained from the reported suspect.
On August 25, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., police officers from the Rostushe Police Department detained M.B. (61), a resident of a village in the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostushe, following a prior report that he had locked his 49-year-old wife inside the family home, physically assaulted her, and threatened her. At around 7:30 p.m., police officers freed the woman, while the man was taken into custody and held at a police station. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against him.
The Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against I.Ch. (58) from Prilep due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “causing general danger.” On August 13, 2026, the suspect allegedly caused fires on three occasions at a location known as “Barakite”, near the new city cemetery, and in the Varosh neighborhood.

The Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against N.S. (37) from Skopje and against a legal entity from Skopje, of which he is the owner, due to reasonable suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of “serving alcoholic beverages to a child” under Article 204 of the Criminal Code. During an inspection of a catering establishment at a beach in Ohrid on July 29, 2026, operated by the reported parties, police officers found minors who had been allowed to consume alcoholic beverages.
On August 25, 2026, at 6:10 a.m., the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs was notified that a human body was in the waters of the Vardar River in the Gazi Baba area. A team from the Skopje Fire Brigade recovered the body from the river. After identification by the family, it was determined that the deceased was T.G. (83) from Skopje, whose son G.G. (46) had reported on August 24, 2026 that his father had left the home. An inspection was carried out, and on the order of a public prosecutor, the body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.

(61) from Kavadarci because a white powdery substance was found and confiscated from him during a search. On August 26, 2026, at 1:00 a.m., in Veles, police officers from the Veles Sector for Internal Affairs detained B.O. (21) from Chashka. According to reports from eyewitnesses, he allegedly took his former 17-year-old girlfriend into a Volkswagen Golf passenger vehicle without her consent. Shortly afterward, police officers stopped the vehicle, after which B.O. was taken into custody at a police station. On August 25, 2026, at 9:30 p.m., police officers from the Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs detained E.F. (36) from the village of Belovishta, Gostivar area. While carrying out official activities on the regional road from the village of Lakavitsa toward the village of Belovishta, police officers observed E.F. in a parked Volkswagen Golf with Austrian license plates, using marijuana. Today (August 26, 2026), at 12:30 a.m., D.K. (26) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 12:15 a.m., in a parking area in the Municipality of Aerodrom in Skopje, he had been physically assaulted by his 59-year-old neighbor, K.G. After the incident is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.

(49) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that, while performing his duties as a Skopje Public Transport (JSP) bus driver, he was physically assaulted by an individual at a bus stop in the Centar area. According to the report, the individual had previously attempted to enter the bus in an unsafe manner, while it was moving along a boulevard, but the driver did not stop the bus. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On August 25, 2026, at 7:25 p.m., A.M. (36) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 6:00 p.m., in front of a sales outlet in the Old Skopje Bazaar, he was physically assaulted by a male individual following a previous argument. The individual allegedly used a metal object during the assault. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On August 25, 2026, at 5:40 p.m., A.S. (23) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 5:15 p.m., in the Gazi Baba area, he was physically assaulted by Z.S. (58) from Skopje. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.
