(30) from the village of Podmolje, Ohrid region, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 18.11.2025 in the village of Veleshta, Struga region, police officers noticed the suspect throwing away a package containing cocaine, which was later found and seized.
SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against J.M. (21) from the village of Chajlane, Municipality of Saraj, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “fraud.” During August 2025, the suspect requested and received a loan of 3,734 euros from his partner, which he failed to repay by the time the report was filed.
On 24.05.2026, police officers from a mobile team of the Mobile Unit for Compensatory Measures within the Border Affairs and Migration Department, in the area of SVR Tetovo, specifically on the main road towards the village of Sirichino, stopped a “Volkswagen Golf” passenger vehicle with German national license plates, driven by M.Z. (46) from the village of Zhelino. It was established that he had violated a house arrest measure, as he was found outside his home and the address where he was serving the measure. It was also established that he did not possess European documents for operating a foreign vehicle and that the vehicle had been in the territory of the country for more than six months. The person was deprived of liberty, and the vehicle was seized on suspicion of a customs offense.
On 24.05.2026 in Skopje, in the Centar area, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived G.D. (25) from Skopje of liberty because marijuana was found and seized from him. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed against him.
On 25.05.2026 at 01:30 in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived O.A. (21), A.F.E. (21), T.A.B. (22), and A.I.O. (24), all from Turkey, of liberty, acting upon a report received on 24.05.2026 at around 19:55 that in the Centar area, following a prior traffic-related argument, they first hit the motorcycle of F.M. (20) from Skopje with their “Audi” vehicle while he was performing work duties as a delivery person, and then physically assaulted him. After the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 24.05.2026 at 20:08, it was reported to the Radovish Police Station that a fire had broken out in one of the halls of a textile factory in Radovish, where machinery and raw materials were stored. After intervention by the Territorial Firefighting Units from Radovish and Strumica, the fire was extinguished and no persons were injured. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Radovish and a fire inspector were notified. An inspection was conducted by a team from OVR Radovish.
On 24.05.2026 at 15:50, at the University Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics within the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived 38-year-old S.K. from Skopje of liberty, acting upon a prior report from the institution at 13:40 that her minor daughter had been brought there in labor. An official interview was conducted with the father of the minor, B.K. (38), and a public prosecutor was notified. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the event and, after full documentation, an appropriate report will follow.
On 25.05.2026 at 01:30 in SVR Skopje, D.T. (30) from the Skopje region reported that at around 01:20 in the Chair area he was physically assaulted by E.T., who also swung a sharp object at him. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 24.05.2026 at 18:35, the Pehchevo Emergency Medical Service reported to OVR Berovo that in a weekend house in the tourist settlement “Ravna Reka,” in the vicinity of Pehchevo, owned by Z.V. from Pehchevo, a 42-year-old woman, V.M. from Shtip, sustained serious bodily injuries after an electric boiler exploded. The injuries were confirmed at the Clinical Hospital Shtip. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Berovo was notified of the incident.
On 24.05.2026, SVR Veles reported that at around 16:45 on the regional road Lake Mladost–Veles, near the intersection of “Akademik Pencho Davchev” Street and “Dimitar Andonov Papradishki” Street, a traffic accident occurred between a “BMW” motorcycle with Veles registration plates, driven by T.K. (35) from Veles, and a “Citroen” passenger vehicle with Veles registration plates, driven by B.D. (45) from Veles. In the accident, the motorcycle rider sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver of the passenger vehicle and the passengers, T.D. (47) and a 16-year-old minor, sustained bodily injuries, all confirmed at the General Hospital Veles. A public prosecutor was notified, and an inspection was conducted by an SVR Veles team.
On 24.05.2026 at 11:00, police officers from SVR Veles detained A.R. (35) from Veles pursuant to an order from the Basic Court Veles to serve a prison sentence of 16 months for the criminal offense of “aggravated theft,” punishable under Article 236 of the Criminal Code. He was transferred to the Idrizovo Correctional Facility to serve the sentence.
On 24.05.2026, OVR Negotino reported that at around 14:00, at the intersection of “Klimentova” Street and “Dojranska” Street in Negotino, a 16-year-old minor from Negotino, while operating an electric scooter, fell onto the roadway. On 24.05.2026 at 12:25, OVR Kichevo reported that in the village of Zajas, Kichevo region, on a local road towards “Nova Naselba,” a traffic accident occurred between a “Renault” passenger vehicle with Kichevo registration plates, driven by F.Xh. (32) from the village of Gorno Strogomishte, Kichevo region, and an electric scooter operated by a 15-year-old minor from the village of Zajas. The minor sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the Kichevo Medical Center. A public prosecutor was notified, and an inspection was conducted by a team from OVR Kichevo.
On 24.05.2026, police officers from OVR Struga, while carrying out regular control activities near the “Wooden Bridge” at the outflow of the Crn Drim River in Struga, deprived M.Ch. (45) from Struga of liberty because carp fish and fishing equipment, specifically a rod with a hook, were found near him. An appropriate submission will be filed against him on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “illegal fishing” under Article 229 of the Criminal Code, during the strict fishing ban period valid from 15.05.2026 to 15.06.2026. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will follow.
On 24.05.2026 at around 12:00, at the entrance to the village of Arachinovo, Skopje region, police officers signaled a truck loaded with wood to stop, but the driver failed to stop and continued driving. The driver then directed the truck toward the police officers and the police vehicle, after which the officers fired warning shots into the air. The driver unloaded the wood onto the street and fled with the vehicle. No persons were injured, the wood was handed over to the Forest Police, and measures are being undertaken to locate the driver and the vehicle.
On 24.05.2026 at 21:08 in SVR Skopje, a 22-year-old woman reported that at around 21:00 in the Aerodrom municipality area in Skopje, a male person physically assaulted her and stole her personal jewelry, while also attempting to take her wallet. On 24.05.2026 at 15:30 in SVR Skopje, Z.T. (53) from Skopje reported that on 22.05.2026 at around 21:00, he and K.J., in a parking area in front of a market in the Karposh area, following a prior misunderstanding regarding parking payment, were physically assaulted by D.D. (an employee responsible for parking payment collection) and another person, who also used a hard object. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 24.05.2026 at around 17:30, in SVR Skopje, M.M. (47) from Skopje reported that in the Bardovci neighborhood, his nine-year-old son had been physically assaulted by two minors, after which the uncle of one of the minors threatened M.M. Also, on 24.05.2026 at around 17:30, 53-year-old J.D. from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that, following a prior argument with another minor, her 11-year-old son had been physically assaulted by M.M. (47), who placed the minor in his vehicle and physically assaulted him there. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 24.05.2026 at 16:30 in SVR Skopje, A.N. (26) from the village of Stajkovci, Skopje region, reported that in the village of Stajkovci, while he was with three friends, he was physically assaulted by B.J. (20) from the village of Indzikovo, after which B.J. also assaulted A.A. (18) with a hard object. On the same day at 18:00, the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution in Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that public order and peace had been disturbed in the institution due to a physical fight between M.N. (22), A.A. (18), and A.N. (26) on one side, and B.J. (20), T.J. (25), and L.J. (19) on the other side. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate submissions will follow.
