The Department of Internal Affairs in Kočani filed a criminal complaint against S.M. (27) from Kočani and M.C. (22) from the village of Obleševo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.” On 03.05.2025, police officers conducted a search of the suspects’ home and other premises, during which marijuana was found and seized.

The Department of Internal Affairs in Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against A.J. (24) from Skopje on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “continued fraud.” During 2025 and 2026, the suspect, through a Facebook profile, falsely presented that she had apartments for rent and misled four individuals from Tetovo, taking money from them as deposits for rent. After receiving the money, she did not provide the promised apartments, thereby gaining unlawful financial benefit in the amount of 45,900 denars.

The Department of Internal Affairs in Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against E.B. (32) from Tetovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “endangering with a dangerous tool during a fight or argument.” On 21.02.2026 in Tetovo, after a prior argument with B.M., the suspect threatened him with a sharp object and then, together with his father, physically assaulted him.

The Department of Internal Affairs in Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against V.D. (41) from Skopje and Zh.N. (54) from the village of Brvenica, Tetovo region, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “preventing an official from performing official duties.” On 16.01.2026 at Popova Šapka, the suspects transported tourists with a snow groomer without a license and without an agreement with the national park. When authorities attempted to stop them, they threatened park employees, after which V.D. attempted to run them over and struck one employee with a mechanical bucket.

On 23.04.2026 at 23:50, it was reported to the Tetovo Police that a traffic accident occurred on the regional road Gostivar – village Gradec, in the village of Debreše, involving a passenger vehicle “Opel” with Skopje plates driven by N.A. (20) from the village of Vranjovce and a passenger vehicle “Nissan” with Gostivar plates driven by H.I. (32) from the village of Dobri Dol. In the accident, driver H.I. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Gostivar Emergency Center, while the Opel driver and his passenger S.U. sustained injuries confirmed at the Tetovo Clinical Hospital. An on-site inspection was conducted.

On 23.04.2026 around 14:00, it was reported to the Skopje Police that on the Skopje–Tetovo highway near the village of Laskarci, A.A. (33) from the village of Debreše, driving an Opel vehicle with Gostivar plates, crashed into a metal barrier. Her passenger N.A. (72) sustained serious injuries, while a 14-year-old minor sustained injuries; both were treated at Tetovo Clinical Center. An inspection was conducted.

On 23.04.2026 at 12:30, it was reported that on “Gjorgje Petrov” Street in Skopje, a traffic accident occurred involving a Renault Clio driven by S.M. (61) from the village of Saraj, a motorcycle driven by A.A. (43) from Skopje, and two parked vehicles (Škoda). The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. An inspection was conducted.

On 23.04.2026 at 13:20, it was reported that on the Skopje ring road in the direction from Tetovo to Veles, a traffic accident occurred involving a MAN truck with trailer driven by M.L. (42) from the village of Kojlija, a Mercedes truck driven by A.E. (40) from the village of Studeničani, and a Mitsubishi passenger vehicle with Romanian plates driven by M.D.B. (38) from Romania. Both truck drivers sustained injuries, treated at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex, while a passenger R.I. (50) sustained injuries treated at the “St. Naum Ohridski” City Hospital. An inspection was conducted.

On 23.04.2026 at 08:30 at the Dolno Blace border crossing (entry into the country), police officers arrested F.A. (40) from Skopje because it was found during border control that he was wanted under an Interpol arrest warrant. He was handed over to the Chair Police Station for further proceedings.

On 24.04.2026 at 01:00, J.D. (19) reported to the Skopje Police that on 23.04.2026 around 18:20 in the Center area, he was physically attacked by S.D. and several other individuals. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 23.04.2026 at 23:30 in Skopje, in the Bit Pazar area, police officers arrested B.B. (43) from Skopje after a report that he had physically attacked D.O.E. (21) from Turkey, temporarily residing in the country. After full documentation, appropriate charges will follow.

On 23.04.2026 at 21:30, I.T. (56) from Skopje reported that on 02.04.2026 in the Karpoš area, he was physically attacked by an individual. Measures are being taken.

On 23.04.2026 at 16:00, a 53-year-old man from Skopje reported that on 22.04.2026 around 08:00, D.V. (husband of his former daughter-in-law) came to his home. The suspect had physically attacked him the previous day and threatened his life. According to the report, D.V. had been harassing him for months and also physically assaulted his granddaughter. Measures are being taken.

On 23.04.2026 at 15:00, police officers from Macedonski Brod arrested I.M. (68) from the village of Debrešte at a location called “Barbaras.” During a traffic check, officers noticed a Renault vehicle with Skopje plates driven by I.M., containing illegally cut wood. When signaled to stop, he ignored the order and accelerated toward the police vehicle, after which an officer fired warning shots into the air. I.M. was detained and will face charges.

On 23.04.2026 at 13:40 in Bitola, a traffic accident occurred on “Karpoš” Street involving a Volkswagen Passat driven by M.H. (43) and an Opel Astra driven by M.I. (60). The Astra driver sustained serious injuries, while the Passat driver sustained injuries. An inspection was conducted.

On 24.04.2026 at 08:17, it was reported that at a construction site on “Kozjak” Street in Skopje, workers were buried during excavation. Three workers were rescued and taken to hospital, while one was found deceased. Measures are being taken.

On 23.04.2026 in the Gazi Baba area, police arrested S.J. (26) after marijuana was found in his possession. Charges will follow.

On 23.04.2026 at 10:30, a hospital reported that a minor was admitted with a stab wound, allegedly inflicted by a classmate at a primary school in the village of Aračinovo. Measures are being taken.

On 22.04.2026 at 13:40 in Štip, police arrested T.S. (31) on suspicion of committing a burglary in a house owned by E.Š. (22), stealing money and assaulting the owner. A criminal complaint was filed under expedited procedure, and the suspect will be brought before a judge.

On 23.04.2026 around 18:45 in the Chair area, while police officers were attempting to arrest a suspect, they were obstructed by a group of about ten individuals. After they ignored police orders, warning shots were fired into the air. The case is being investigated.
