On 20/21.03.2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived M.V. (21), H.D. (26), H.M. (33) from Skopje and M.T. (32) from the village of Indžikovo, Skopje area, of their liberty, because marijuana was found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.
On 20.03.2026 at 18:30, it was reported to the Radoviš Police Department that on the regional road Radoviš–Konče, at the entrance to the village of Konče, a passenger vehicle “Toyota” with Radoviš license plates, driven by A.A. (42) from Radoviš, struck an eight-year-old child from the village of Konče, Municipality of Konče. The child sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital Štip. An inspection was carried out by a team from the Radoviš Police Department.
On 20.03.2026 at 18:40 at the Jazhince Border Crossing, police officers deprived S.A. (48) from the village of Raduša of his liberty. During border checks, it was established that the passenger vehicle “Tiguan” he was driving was wanted by Interpol-Germany. The vehicle was seized and, after full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.
The Prilep Police Department filed a criminal complaint against O.B. (40) from Prilep due to grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense “serious bodily injury”. On 28.12.2025 in a casino in Prilep, the suspect physically assaulted a casino security employee and inflicted serious bodily injuries.
On 20.03.2026 at 11:26 at the “St. Apostle Paul” Airport in Ohrid, at the exit from the country, police officers deprived L.A. (66) from the village of Zagračani, Struga area, of his liberty because two bullets were found and seized in his hand luggage. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will follow.
On 20.03.2026 at 16:00 near the village of Sveta, Demir Hisar area, police officers from the Kruševo Police Department found and seized a passenger vehicle “Opel” with Bitola license plates loaded with illegally cut firewood and a chainsaw, owned by G.V. (51) from the village of Sveta. Additionally, on 19.03.2026 at 15:00 near “Niko Doaga” street in Kruševo, 4.20 m³ of unmarked beech firewood were found, and nearby, in a yard, an additional 2.80 m³ of unmarked beech firewood were found. The wood was handed over to the forestry police, and after documentation, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 20.03.2026 at 16:40, it was reported to the Prilep Police Department that a fire had broken out on “Debarca” street in Prilep, affecting a house and an auxiliary building owned by D.R. from Prilep. The fire was extinguished by the Territorial Firefighting Unit of Prilep, during which firefighter Z.G. (53) from the village of Krušeani, Prilep area, was injured by an electric shock and was transported to the Prilep General Hospital for medical assistance. An inspection was carried out by a team from the Prilep Police Department.
On 20.03.2026 at 10:00 in Negotino, police officers deprived P.K. (48) from Negotino of his liberty. During a search of his home, carried out under a warrant from the Basic Court Kavadarci, a hunting rifle and 92 rounds of ammunition without proper documentation were found and seized. Also, a search of a weekend house in the area called “Došnica”, Demir Kapija area, resulted in the seizure of 23 hunting cartridges without proper documentation. P.K. was detained, a public prosecutor was notified, and after documentation, an appropriate report will be filed.
On 20.03.2026 at 09:49, the Skopje Police Department received a report from the City General Hospital “St. Naum Ohridski” in Skopje that Z.A. (60) from Negotino, an employee of “Macedonian Railways”, was admitted with burn injuries. According to the report, he sustained the injuries from an electric shock while performing work duties in Skopje. An inspection was carried out and a labor inspector was notified.
On 20.03.2026 at 08:00 in Skopje, B.M. (67) from Radišani reported that around 07:30 while performing work duties in a shop, he was physically assaulted by T.S. (35) from Skopje. After full documentation, appropriate measures will be taken.
On 21.03.2026 at 09:30, E.A.S. (52) from Skopje reported that on 10.02.2026 around 22:00 in the Karpoš area in Skopje, after a prior argument with two minors, she was physically attacked by one person. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.
On 21.03.2026 at 01:20, police officers from the Sveti Nikole Police Department detained S.P. (24) from the village of Mustafino, S.E. (24) from the village of Erdželija and N.P. (22) from Skopje, because they disturbed public order and peace with a mutual physical altercation in a hospitality facility in Sveti Nikole.
