On 19 June 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) arrested I.P. (22) from Skopje and K.T. (32) from the Federal Republic of Germany after powdered substances and marijuana were found and seized from them. Appropriate charges will be filed following the full documentation of the case.
On 18 June 2026 at 14:10, it was reported to SVR Skopje that a traffic accident occurred on Bledski Dogovor Street in Skopje between an Audi passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by Z.Č. (42) from the village of Rašče, Skopje region, and a Honda motorcycle with Skopje registration plates, driven by A.S. (46) from Skopje. The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the “8 Septemvri” General City Hospital in Skopje. An inspection was conducted by a team from SVR Skopje.
SVR Tetovo filed criminal charges against E.R. (36) from Tetovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “bodily injury.” On 12 March 2026, during an argument in a passenger vehicle, the suspect physically assaulted her unmarried partner.
On 18 June 2026 at approximately 16:50, it was reported to SVR Štip that an Opel passenger vehicle with Radoviš registration plates, driven by S.R. (67) from Radoviš, veered off the main road between Negotino and Štip and overturned. The driver sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Štip. Checks revealed that S.R. was driving under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 0.50‰. An on-site investigation was carried out by SVR Štip, and appropriate charges will follow after the case is fully documented.
SVR Štip filed criminal charges against Š.I. (55) from Štip on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors” and “enabling the use of narcotic drugs.” On 4 and 13 December 2025, the suspect allowed two individuals to use marijuana in his home. Marijuana found in their possession was determined to have been obtained from the suspect. A search of his home also resulted in the seizure of marijuana.
On 18 June 2026, it was reported to the Prilep Police Department (OVR Prilep) that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Prilepski Braniteli Street and Trizla Street in Prilep between a Tomos moped driven by G.U. (33) from Prilep and a bicycle ridden by A.K. (80) from Prilep. The cyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Prilep. An investigation was conducted by OVR Prilep.
On 18 June 2026 at approximately 12:30, B.M. (55) from the village of Krklino, Bitola region, reported to SVR Bitola that he had discovered an unexploded artillery shell while performing agricultural work in his yard. A pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue removed the shell and determined that it was a 75 mm unexploded projectile dating from the First World War.
OVR Kočani filed criminal charges against B.B. (28) from Gevgelija for “assaulting an official while performing security duties” and against P.N. (28) from Gevgelija for “obstructing an official in the performance of official duties.” On 30 May 2026, after a football match between FK Kožuv Gevgelija and FK Borec 1919 Veles at the City Stadium in Kočani, the first suspect threw a bottle of water at a police officer, while the second obstructed officers attempting to arrest the first suspect.
On 18 June 2026 at 13:40, police officers from a patrol team in the village of Medžitlija, Bitola region, discovered another unexploded artillery shell. It was removed by a pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue and identified as a 75 mm projectile dating from the First World War.
SVR Bitola filed criminal charges against M.G. (56) from Bitola on suspicion of “violation of labor rights.” As director of the public enterprise “Streževo” – Bitola, the suspect allegedly changed the job position of an employee on three occasions between February 2023 and 29 June 2023, contrary to the provisions of the Law on Administrative Servants, the Labor Relations Law, and the workplace systematization regulations.
On 18 June 2026 at 23:05 on Vidoe Smilevski-Bato Street in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo arrested E.S. (21) from the village of Želino after marijuana and a white powdered substance were found and seized from him. He was detained at a police station, and appropriate charges will be filed after the case is fully documented.
SVR Veles filed criminal charges against G.M. (57) from the village of Banjica, Municipality of Čaška, on suspicion of “unauthorized manufacture, possession, mediation and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.” A search of his home and auxiliary premises resulted in the seizure of a 16-gauge hunting rifle.
On 18 June 2026 at 21:00, S.K. (42) from the village of Selce, Tetovo region, reported to the Tetovo Police Station that his 16-year-old son had been physically assaulted by S.S. (23) near the local school. Following police measures, S.S. was arrested at 21:20 and detained pending further proceedings.
OVR Kočani filed criminal charges against J.D. (39) from Kočani for the criminal offense of “child abduction.” On 21 April 2026, the suspect allegedly acted contrary to a decision issued by the Kočani Social Work Center by preventing her former unmarried partner from seeing his child.
On 18 June 2026 at 15:45 in Steve Naumov Park in Bitola, police officers arrested N.Š. (30) from Bitola after marijuana was found and seized from him. Appropriate charges will follow after the incident is fully documented.
SVR Tetovo filed criminal charges against Dž.J. (36) on suspicion of “unauthorized manufacture, possession and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials.” On 1 June 2025, a search of the suspect’s business premises in Tetovo resulted in the seizure of 2,916 pieces of pyrotechnic material.
On 18 June 2026 at 13:05, SVR Skopje received a report that public order and peace had been disturbed in the Kisela Voda area following a physical altercation between B.K. (56) and A.J. (56), both from Skopje. Appropriate measures will be taken after the case is fully documented.
SVR Tetovo filed criminal charges against A.E. (24) from Tetovo for the criminal offense of “endangering security.” On 9 April 2026, the suspect allegedly made threatening phone calls to G.B.
On 18 June 2026 at 12:40, G.J. (83) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that at approximately 10:20 in the Kisela Voda area, he had been physically assaulted by three individuals. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 18 June 2026 at 10:50, A.N. (49) from Skopje reported that on 17 June 2026 at around 22:00 in the Karpoš area, he had been physically assaulted by A.M., F.N., and another individual. Measures are being taken to investigate the incident.
B.K. (60) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 15 June 2026 at approximately 23:20 in the Karpoš area, her 17-year-old daughter and the daughter’s friend were physically assaulted by I.S. (female) and another juvenile girl. Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the case.
