(18), both from Skopje, of their liberty after marijuana and a white powdery substance were found and seized from them. On 15 June 2026 at 11:40 a.m., it was reported to the Sveti Nikole Police Department that a traffic accident occurred on Filip Vtori Street in Sveti Nikole between a Volkswagen passenger vehicle with Sveti Nikole license plates, driven by S.D. (25) from Sveti Nikole, and a moped with Sveti Nikole license plates, driven by T.Sh. (55) from Sveti Nikole. The moped rider sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Štip. An on-site inspection was carried out by a police investigation team from the Sveti Nikole Police Department.
The Delčevo Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against A.K. (49) from Delčevo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized manufacture, possession, mediation, and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.” On 10 April 2026, police officers conducted a search of the suspect’s home and auxiliary premises, during which ammunition was found and seized.
On 15 June 2026 at 8:20 a.m., it was reported to the Prilep Police Department that a traffic accident occurred on Egejska Street in Prilep between a moped with Prilep license plates driven by V.I. (46) from Prilep and another moped driven by G.M. (55) from Prilep. V.I. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Prilep City Hospital. An investigation was conducted by a police inspection team from the Prilep Police Department.
The Gostivar Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against A.T. (23) from the village of Dolna Banjica, Gostivar region, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.” Police officers searched the home and auxiliary premises where the suspect was staying, as well as a passenger vehicle he was using, and seized marijuana.
On 15 June 2026 at 8:05 p.m., it was reported to the Struga Police Department that a traffic accident occurred in the village of Vevčani between a Yamaha motorcycle with Struga license plates, driven by B.J. (45) from the village of Mislodežda, Struga region, and a Volkswagen Golf with Vevčani license plates driven by I.M. (51) from Vevčani. After the collision, the motorcycle struck a trailer attached to a parked Audi with Vevčani license plates, parked by T.D. (51) from Vevčani. The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the St. Erasmus Special Hospital in Ohrid. An on-site inspection was conducted by a Struga Police Department investigation team.
The Bitola Police Department filed criminal charges against I.S. (40) from Prilep on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of “damage and unauthorized access to a computer system” and “misuse of personal data.” On 13 October 2025, while working as an administrative clerk at the payment counter of the General Hospital in Prilep, the suspect photographed a debit payment card belonging to a person from Prilep and, between 26 October 2025 and 19 February 2026, carried out 71 online transactions totaling 90,174 denars.
On 15 June 2026 at 12:22 p.m., the Bitola Police Department received a report that four unexploded grenades dating from World War I had been found in a field in the area of the village of Dedebalci, Municipality of Mogila. An inspection was conducted, and the grenades were safely removed by a pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue.
The Gostivar Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against Sh.A. (42) from a village in the Gostivar region on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “bodily injury.” Following an argument at the family home, the suspect physically attacked his father and injured him with a knife.
On 15 June 2026 at 10:10 a.m., police officers detained M.I. (29) from the village of Lomnica and K.M. (74) from the village of Debreše because they disturbed public order and peace with a mutual argument inside the Gostivar Police Station. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
The Gostivar Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against I.M. (50) from a village in the Municipality of Vrapčište on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “endangering security.” On 28 April 2026, the suspect made threatening phone calls on two occasions to her husband and father-in-law.
On 15 June 2026 at 12:47 p.m., it was reported to the Tetovo Police Department that a deceased person had been found in a water canal near the village of Gorno Jelovce. Police officers determined that the deceased was N.M. (64) from the village of Debreše, an employee of the public utility company Komunalec Gostivar. According to reports, he had come with colleagues to clean the canal and became trapped in one of the drainage channels. After being extracted by members of the Gostivar Fire Brigade, an emergency medical doctor confirmed his death. A labor inspector also attended the scene, and a public prosecutor ordered an autopsy.
The Bitola Police Department filed criminal charges against G.B. (55) from the village of Krušeani, Krivogaštani Municipality, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “obstructing a public official in the performance of official duties.” On 7 March 2026, at the exit of the village of Krušeani, the suspect behaved aggressively and interfered with police officers performing their official duties.
On 15 June 2026 at 11:00 a.m., police officers from the Bitola Police Department detained J.J. (44) from the village of Nižepole, Bitola region, for behaving aggressively toward police officers while they were carrying out official duties. The Kriva Palanka Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against Z.P. (61) from Kriva Palanka on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “abuse of official position and authority.” As a municipal environmental inspector, on 24 July 2024, while conducting an inspection of privately owned water supply infrastructure in the village of Konopnica, he verbally ordered employees of the public utility company Komunalec to damage the padlocks on reservoir facilities used as distribution chambers.
On 15 June 2026 at 4:55 p.m., police officers from the Bitola Police Department detained P.B. (26) from Bitola on Bregalnica Street. According to reports, he threatened his neighbor G.R. On 16 June 2026 at 3:45 a.m., a 53-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that on 15 June 2026 at around 11:00 p.m., in a home in the Čair area, she had been physically assaulted by her common-law partner V.A. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 15 June 2026 at 11:30 p.m., it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that public order and peace were disturbed in the Keramidnica neighborhood following a physical altercation between R.D. (32) and N.M. (29) on one side, and A.K. (23) and S.D. (31) on the other, all from Skopje. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is fully documented.
The Veles Police Department filed criminal charges against D.M. (62) from the village of Miladinovci on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “endangering the environment and nature through waste.” On 12 November 2025, the suspect unloaded 43 metal barrels filled with ammonia solutions onto state-owned agricultural land near the village of Kukuričani, Negotino region.
On 15 June 2026 at 10:00 p.m., an 18-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that on 12 June 2026 at around 6:00 p.m. in the Čair area, her father V.A. threatened her and her minor sister and physically assaulted the minor sister. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 15 June 2026 at 11:30 a.m., the Clinical Hospital in Štip reported to the Štip Police Department that a 17-year-old from the village of Počivalo, Municipality of Karbinci, had been admitted with serious bodily injuries. According to reports, he sustained the injuries after falling from a horse. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje for further treatment. An inspection was carried out by a police team from the Štip Police Department.
On 15 June 2026 at 9:30 p.m., Gj.V. (70) from Skopje reported that he had been physically assaulted in the Karpoš area by Z.Gj. (40) from Skopje. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
On 15 June 2026 at 3:07 p.m., it was reported to the Struga Police Department that S.S. (20) from the village of Oktisi, Struga region, was pulled from the waters of Lake Ohrid near the “Men’s Beach” in Struga. He had been on a pedal boat in the lake. He was transported to the Struga Medical Center for treatment but died at 4:05 p.m. A doctor confirmed the death, and by order of a public prosecutor, the body was sent for autopsy. An on-site investigation was conducted.
On 15 June 2026, police in Ohrid conducted an official interview with R.T. (34) from a village in the Ohrid region following a report by his former 32-year-old wife that he had threatened her over the telephone. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
On 16 June 2026 at 7:30 a.m., it was reported to the Debar Police Department that a fire had broken out at approximately 7:20 a.m. in one of the rooms of a private company in Debar. The fire was extinguished by the Debar Territorial Firefighting Unit, and no injuries were reported. An inspection was conducted by a police investigation team.
On 15 June 2026 at 5:15 p.m., a fire was reported in the village of Bardovci, near Skopje, which burned plots of agricultural crops owned by T.T. (49) and G.M. (52), both from Bardovci. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Protection Brigade, and no injuries were reported.
On 15 June 2026 at 7:30 p.m., A.S. from Skopje reported that he had found an abandoned baby, approximately seven to eight months old, lying on a bench in a park in the Šuto Orizari area. Police officers responded to the scene, and an emergency medical team transported the baby to the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex, where examinations showed the child was in good health and had no visible injuries. Following investigative measures, M.M. (49), I.M. (54), and Sh.M. (32), all from Skopje, were interviewed. They explained that Sh.M. had met a woman identified as S.N. in the Center area of Skopje, who had entrusted her with the baby. When S.N. failed to return, Sh.M. took the baby to Šuto Orizari and left the child in the park. A public prosecutor was informed, and measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.
