On 15.02.2026 in Skopje, at various locations, police officers from the SVR Skopje deprived of their liberty T.G. (34), D.V. (34), D.P. (48) and a 16-year-old, all from Skopje, as well as D.A. (20) from the village of Novo Selo, Skopje region, K.J. (25) and G.M. (33), both from the village of Petrovec, Skopje region, because marijuana was found and seized from them. After fully documenting the cases against them, appropriate filings will follow.
On 15.02.2026 at around 19:05, the Kumanovo Police Department reported that on the Kumanovo-Kriva Palanka highway, at a place called "Smilchinci", Staro Nagoricane municipality, a passenger vehicle "Volkswagen Golf" with Krivopalanka license plates, driven by S.T. (25) from the village of Nerav, Krivopalanka, hit a stray dog, after which it crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a passenger vehicle "BMW" with Krivopalanka license plates, driven by F.J. (27) from the village of Dlabochica, Krivopalanka. In the accident, both drivers and the female passengers of the passenger vehicle "BMW", A.S. (20) and S.J. (53), both from Kriva Palanka, sustained serious injuries, and were admitted to the Kumanovo General Hospital, where the driver S.T. succumbed to his injuries. A doctor declared the deceased dead, and by order of the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was sent for autopsy. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team of the Kumanovo Internal Affairs Department.
On 16.02.2026 at 06:30, it was reported to the Struga Internal Affairs Department that on the Podmolje-Struga highway, a "Man" truck, driven by A.A. (52) from the Republic of Albania, hit the pedestrian U.D. (75) from the village of Livada, Struga, who died at the scene of the accident from his injuries. A doctor from the Struga Emergency Medical Service declared the deceased dead, and an inspection was carried out by an inspection team of the Struga Internal Affairs Department. On 15.02.2026 at 22:20 on ul. "Blagoja Stefkovski" in Skopje, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit at SVR Skopje deprived A.S. (35) from Skopje of his liberty. During a search of a "BMW" vehicle with Skopje license plates in which he was traveling with another person, a gun was found and confiscated from him. He is suspected of having physically attacked I.J. (31) from the village of Marino, Ilinden municipality, and B.A. (32) from the village of Ilinden, Ilinden municipality, with another person on 15.02.2026 at 22:00 in a catering facility in the Skopsko Pole settlement, Trubarevo, after a previous misunderstanding, during which A.S. threatened I.S. with a gun, owned by A.M. (30) from the village of Staykovci, Skopje region, an employee of the Ministry of Interior, who was with them. After measures were taken, on 16.02.2026 at 02:05 in the Gazi Baba area in Skopje, police officers from the SVR Skopje also deprived A.M. (30) of her liberty. The persons were detained at a police station and after the case was fully cleared, an appropriate report will follow.
On 15.02.2026 at 18:00 in the SVR Skopje, A.B.Zh. (32) from Skopje reported that at around 13:30 in the Bit Pazar area in Skopje, her minor son was physically attacked by a person. Measures are being taken to clear the case.
