The Foreign Office for Criminal Affairs in Gostivar filed a criminal complaint against A.I. (23) from the village of Debreshe, Gostivar region, and J.H. (27) from Gostivar due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors". On 11.08.2025, in a parking lot in front of a catering facility on the Gostivar-Kicevo highway, police officers conducted an inspection of a passenger vehicle, during which marijuana was found and seized from the defendants.

The Tetovo SVR filed a criminal complaint against J.J. (84) from a village in the municipality of Vrapčishte due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of the crime of “extortion”. During July 2025, the accused demanded and received 5000 euros from a female relative of his, and after she asked to return the money, he stopped communicating with her.

The Tetovo SVR filed a criminal complaint against B.G. (64) from the village of Negotino, Gostivar, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of the crime of “destruction or damage to public installations”. On 13.01.2026 at 20:18, it was reported to the SVR Bitola that on ul. "Novacki pat" in Bitola, an "Audi" passenger vehicle with Bitola license plates, driven by V.A. (44) from Bitola, hit the pedestrian S.P. (62) from Bitola. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the accident, which were confirmed at the Bitola Clinical Hospital. An inspection team from the SVR Bitola conducted an inspection.

On 13.01.2026 at 15:40 at the Skopje International Airport Border Crossing Point, on the way out of the country, police officers detained V.A. (53) from Norway, because during the border check it was found that several pages were missing from his travel document. He was handed over to police officers from the Cross-Border Crime and Migration Department Skopje for further proceedings and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate charge will be filed against him.

The Ohrid State Police filed a criminal charge against R.V. (36) from Skopje with the Ohrid Basic Public Prosecutor's Office due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the crime of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors". On 06.04.2025, in a parking lot of a hotel in Ohrid, police officers from the Department for Illicit Trafficking in Drugs and Weapons at the SVR Ohrid conducted a search of a Honda passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, driven by the defendant, and in which there were three other people, during which they found and seized marijuana.

On 13.01.2026 at 12:00 in the village of Gradec, Gostivar region, police officers from the Galate Police Department deprived D.A. (25) from the village of Gradec of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of having committed the crime of "theft" under Article 235 of the Criminal Code. He is being held at a police station and after documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 13.01.2026 at 09:55 in Demir Hisar, police officers from the Demir Hisar Internal Affairs Department deprived of liberty K.A. (34) from Demir Hisar, who was wanted by order from the Basic Court of Bitola to serve a six-month prison sentence for the crime of "serious bodily harm". He was taken to the Bitola Prison to serve his sentence.

On 13.01.2026 at 19:20, the Tetovo Fire Department reported that a fire broke out in an apartment on ul.,,180” in Tetovo, owned by O.S. (76) from Tetovo, who died on the spot. A doctor declared him dead. While trying to put out the fire, his son M.S. (51) from Tetovo suffered burns and was transported to the Tetovo Clinical Hospital by ambulance for medical attention. The fire was extinguished by the Tetovo Territorial Fire Department. An inspection was conducted by the public prosecutor and the Tetovo Fire Department investigation team.

On 13.01.2026 at 11:20, the Tetovo Fire Department reported that a 44-year-old man from Tetovo had been defrauded by a person from the Gostivar area for the sum of 2,000 euros. According to the report, in July In 2024, he contacted the person and agreed to mediate for him documents abroad, after which he gave the money to his nephew. As reported, after he did not receive the documents, nor was his money returned, he realized that he had been deceived and reported the case. Measures are being taken to clarify and document the case.

On 13.01.2026 at 21:00 in the village of Krušopek, Skopje region, police officers from the SVR Skopje deprived of their liberty I.D. (30), A.D. (36), B.D. (65) and N.D. (42), all from the village of Krušopek, acting on a previous report that in the yard of a warehouse in the village of Laka, Skopje region, they physically attacked M.N. (50) from the village of Krušopek, his brother and his son, using sharp objects. According to the report, M.N., his brother and his son returned the attack. After fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will follow.

On 13.01.2026 at 20:30 in a village near Skopje, police officers from the SVR Skopje deprived S.K. (56) of his liberty because he had threatened his 44-year-old wife and attempted to physically attack her, and previously threatened their two daughters with a sharp object and damaged some of the household goods in the family home. After the case was fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.

On 13.01.2026 at 11:00 in the SVR Skopje, D.G. (56) from Skopje reported that at around 04:00 at her workplace in a health facility in the Gjorce Petrov area, she was physically attacked by a person who was being treated at the facility. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 13.01.2026 at 21:50 at the SVR Skopje, V.S. (49) and B.N. (33), both from Skopje, reported that they were attacked by J.V. with a hard object in the Gjorce Petrov area. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
