The Regional Center for Border Affairs East filed criminal charges against T.S. (49) from the village of Grad, Delčevo region, on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offenses “unauthorized manufacture, possession, mediation and trade in weapons and explosive materials” and “illegal hunting.” On 22.01.2026 in the area of the village of Grad, during a hunting ban period, the reported person was caught with a hunting rifle for which he did not possess a permit.
The SVR Tetovo filed criminal charges against Š.B. (59) from Tetovo on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense “endangering with a dangerous weapon during a fight or argument.” On 16.03.2026, the reported person used a sharp object to issue threats toward B.M., who was at his workplace in a private company.
On 12–13.05.2026 in Skopje, at different locations, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived N.Č. (32) and M.S. (20), both from Skopje, and J.M. (26) from the village of Studeničani, Skopje region, of liberty after marijuana was found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 12.05.2026 at 11:15 in the Police Station Kočani, Emergency Medical Service Kočani reported that V.B. (50) from the village of Sokolari, municipality of Češinovo–Oblesevo, was brought in with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, he sustained the injuries while performing construction work for a company from Kočani, falling from a height. Due to the severity of the injuries, he was transferred to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center in Skopje for further treatment. By order of a public prosecutor, an on-site investigation was carried out by an inspection team from OVR Kočani together with an occupational safety inspector and a labor relations inspector.
On 12.05.2026 at 13:05 at the Skopje International Airport Border Crossing Point, police officers detained V.K. (86) from Kosovo after pistol ammunition was found and seized in his suitcase during border control. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate charge will follow.
On 12.05.2026 at 18:00 in SVR Skopje, it was reported that a traffic accident occurred on “Boča Ivanova” Street in Skopje between a passenger vehicle “Dacia” with Skopje license plates driven by I.S. (46) from Kumanovo and a passenger vehicle “Seat” with Skopje plates driven by E.R. (22) from Skopje. The driver of the “Dacia” sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver of the “Seat” and his passenger B.M. (24) from Skopje sustained bodily injuries, diagnosed at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center in Skopje. An investigation was carried out by an SVR Skopje team.
On 12.05.2026 at 15:00 in Štip, police officers from SVR Štip deprived E.M. (31) from Štip of liberty after marijuana was found and seized from him. After full documentation of the case, a charge will follow.
On 13.05.2026 at 00:30 in SVR Skopje, it was reported that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of “Vasil Gjorgov” Street and “Naroden Front” Street in Skopje between a passenger vehicle “Dacia” with Italian license plates driven by J.Č. (27) from Italy, temporarily residing in Skopje, and a motorcycle “Kawasaki” with Skopje plates driven by H.A. (23) from Skopje. The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver of the car and his passenger I.A. (27) from Skopje sustained bodily injuries, treated at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center and the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution in Skopje. By order of a public prosecutor, J.Č. was deprived of liberty in connection with Article 300 of the Criminal Code. An investigation was conducted by SVR Skopje.
On 12.05.2026 at 12:05 in SVR Skopje, it was reported that on a local road on Vodno, police officer M.T. (32) from the village of Radišani, Skopje region, while riding a “Honda” motorcycle owned by the Ministry of Interior, lost control while trying to avoid a fox that ran onto the road and fell. He sustained serious bodily injuries diagnosed at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center in Skopje. An investigation was carried out by an SVR Skopje team.
On 12.05.2026, P.V. reported to SVR Skopje that an animal resembling a wolf had been seen on “Jurij Gagarin” Street. After receiving the report, police officers from SVR Skopje went to the location and, in coordination with experts from the Skopje Zoo and the City of Skopje, the animal was captured and safely transported to the Skopje Zoo.
OVR Kočani filed criminal charges against P.G. (29) from Kočani on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense “bodily injury.” On 14.04.2026 in the family home in Kočani, the reported person physically attacked his wife.

The External Criminal Affairs Office in Delčevo filed criminal charges against D.K. (36) from the village of Gabrovo on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense “attack on an official while performing security duties.” On 01.05.2026, the reported person disturbed public order in a hospitality facility with aggressive behavior toward staff and guests, physically attacked S.T. (25), and then physically attacked a police officer performing official duties.
On 12.05.2026 at 10:00 in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo deprived N.T. (28) from the village of Poroј, Tetovo region, of liberty, who was wanted under a court order to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Article 133 of the Criminal Code. N.T. was transferred to Tetovo Prison to serve the sentence.
On 12.05.2026 around 19:30 in SVR Strumica, it was reported that on the regional road Strumica–village Banica, a passenger vehicle “Peugeot” with Strumica plates driven by Gj.T. (60) from Strumica left the roadway. The driver sustained serious bodily injuries diagnosed at the Strumica Medical Center. An investigation was carried out by an SVR Strumica team.
On 12.05.2026 at 20:40 in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived L.A.M.B. (46) of liberty after a previous report that around 20:00 at a family home in the Centar area of Skopje he physically attacked his 45-year-old wife. On 12.05.2026 at 16:15 in SVR Skopje, the Emergency Center at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center reported that S.D. (47) from Skopje was brought in with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, she sustained the injuries after falling into a manhole on “Partizanski Odredi” Boulevard in Skopje. An investigation was conducted.
On 12.05.2026 at 21:30 at the Police Station Aerodrom in Skopje, a police interview was conducted with S.F. (62) from Skopje following a report by T.D. (53) from Skopje that he had been physically attacked at around 17:00 in the Aerodrom municipality area. After full documentation of the case, a charge will follow.
On 12.05.2026 at 21:40 in Kavadarci, police officers from OVR Kavadarci detained Z.N. (55) from Kavadarci on suspicion of committing the criminal offense “theft” in a retail store in Kavadarci. Part of the stolen items were found and will be returned to the owner. After full documentation, a charge will follow.

On 13.05.2026 at 01:40 in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived J.J. (44) and Dž.I. (32), both from Skopje, of liberty after they previously physically attacked police officers in the Kisela Voda area while performing official duties and attempted to use a hard object, but were prevented. On 12.05.2026 at 10:00 in SVR Skopje, A.D. (49) from the village of Inđikovo, Skopje region, reported that on 11.05.2026 around 04:20 a fire broke out in a utility room of his house. He and his wife extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported and measures are being taken to clarify the case.
