The Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs (SVR Strumica) filed a criminal complaint against A.P. (28) from Strumica on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors." On March 12, 2025, police officers from the Department for Illegal Drug and Weapons Trafficking at SVR Strumica conducted searches at two locations where the suspect was staying. During the searches, MDMA, marijuana, hashish, cannabis seeds, and other items were found and seized.


The External Office for Criminal Affairs Gostivar filed a criminal complaint against N.R. (35) from Gostivar on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "violence." On May 14, 2026, in Gostivar, the suspect physically assaulted a police officer who was carrying out official duties.


On June 8, 2026, at 10:09 a.m., a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service reported to the Vinica Police Station that V.A. (71) from the village of Dragobraste, Vinica area, had been brought to them with injuries sustained in a tractor accident. Despite medical treatment and resuscitation efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. A doctor pronounced him dead, and by order of a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kochani, an investigative team from the Vinica Department of Internal Affairs conducted an inspection of the scene. It was determined that on June 6, 2026, during the evening hours, V.A. drove off a local road in the village of Dragobraste while operating a tractor, after which he went home without seeking medical assistance. On June 8, around 9:00 a.m., his son took him to the hospital in Vinica, from where he was referred to the hospital in Kochani. Shortly afterward, his condition worsened, and an Emergency Medical Service team attempted resuscitation, but he died from his injuries. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.


On June 8, 2026, at 12:40 p.m., it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident occurred in the village of Creshevo, Skopje region, involving a moped with Skopje registration plates driven by M.K. (29) and a Hyundai passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates driven by M.T. (40), both from Skopje. M.K. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Emergency Center of the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje. An investigative team from SVR Skopje conducted an inspection.


On June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., on Ilindenska Street in Tetovo, police officers from the Gostivar and Tetovo Police Stations arrested K.M. (36) from the village of Debreshe, Tetovo area. He is suspected of having committed multiple theft offenses within the jurisdiction of the Gostivar Police Station. He was detained, and after the cases are fully clarified and documented, appropriate charges will be filed against him.


On June 8, 2026, at 10:45 a.m., it was reported to the Sveti Nikole Police Department that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Krste Misirkov Street and Kocho Racin Street in Sveti Nikole between a Škoda passenger vehicle with Sveti Nikole registration plates driven by T.D. (41) from Sveti Nikole and a Volkswagen passenger vehicle with Kochani registration plates driven by I.A. (47) from the village of Obleševo, Municipality of Češinovo-Obleševo. A 68-year-old passenger, M.M., in the Škoda sustained serious bodily injuries, while another passenger, D.M. (67), also from Sveti Nikole, sustained bodily injuries. Their injuries were confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Štip. An investigative team from the Sveti Nikole Police Department conducted an inspection.


SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against H.D. (22) from the village of Mala Rečica, Tetovo area, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "attempted robbery." On June 3, 2026, in a hospitality establishment in Tetovo, the suspect threatened an employee with a pistol and demanded money. After the employee refused and told him to leave, a physical altercation ensued, during which H.D. struck the employee with the butt of the pistol.


The External Office for Criminal Affairs Valandovo filed a criminal complaint against R.J. (80) from the Gevgelija area on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "rape of a child under the age of 15." On May 31, 2026, in a village in the Valandovo area, the suspect performed sexual acts on a 14-year-old from the same area.


On June 8, 2026, at 11:25 a.m., it was reported to SVR Ohrid that a worker fell while performing construction work on the roof of one of the buildings at St. Paul the Apostle International Airport in Ohrid and sustained serious bodily injuries. He was transported to St. Erasmus Hospital. Police officers determined that the injured person was Z.P. (44) from Kavadarci. An inspection was conducted, and the case is being investigated.


On June 8, 2026, around 7:00 p.m., a private healthcare institution in the village of Aračinovo reported to SVR Skopje that I.Š. (73) from the village of Grušino, Skopje area, had been brought in deceased. Police conducted an interview with the deceased's brother, who stated that while starting a tractor equipped with a hay collector and left in gear, the tractor began moving, and I.Š. became caught in the collector attachment. He died while being transported to the healthcare facility. Following instructions from a public prosecutor, the body was released to the family.


On June 8, 2026, around 6:30 p.m., it was reported to SVR Skopje that a human body in an advanced state of decomposition had been found near the Lepenc River in the village of Orman. Police conducted an inspection, and by order of a public prosecutor, the body—on which a bus card bearing the name J.M. (70), a female from Skopje, was found—was sent to forensic medicine for autopsy.


On June 8, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., a 43-year-old woman reported to SVR Skopje that explicit photographs of her minor daughter had been shared via a mobile application. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On June 8, 2026, at 6:55 p.m., it was reported to SVR Skopje that a fire had broken out in a house in the Kisela Voda area owned by V.A. (57). The fire was extinguished by the Fire Protection Brigade, and there were no injuries. An inspection was conducted.


On June 8, 2026, around 2:40 p.m., the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex reported to SVR Skopje that a 29-year-old woman from the Skopje area had been admitted with injuries. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On June 8–9, 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested B.S. (40), A.B. (26), and D.N. (33), all from Skopje, after marijuana and a white powdery substance were found and seized from them. Following full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.


On June 8, 2026, at 11:40 p.m., at Lake Veles, police officers from the Mobile Unit for Compensatory Measures within the Organized Crime and Border Affairs Department arrested B.M. (47) from Veles after marijuana was found and seized from him. A public prosecutor was informed, and after the case is fully documented, appropriate legal action will follow.
