On 06.09.2026, at different locations, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained E.N. (31), N.S. (49), N.A. (30) and a 17-year-old, all from Skopje, A.I. (32) from Skopje, residing in Germany, Z.Š. (22) from the village of Krušopek, Skopje area, E.A. (21) from the village of Saraj, Municipality of Saraj, and D.S. (39) from Prilep, because white powdery substance, white lumpy substance and marijuana were found and seized from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate submissions will follow.

On 06.09.2026 at around 23:30, the Skopje Police Department was informed that near the intersection between Prohor Pčinjski Street and Vojdan Černodrinski Street in Skopje, while D.G. (29), A.Џ. (24), K.B. (36), E.B. (25) and A.M. (26), all from Skopje, were standing in front of a company storefront, a motorcycle carrying two persons stopped, and they fired a firearm at the group, after which they fled. One of the projectiles hit A.M., who was transported by an Emergency Medical Service vehicle to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje, where he died. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The External Office for Criminal Police in Sveti Nikole filed a criminal complaint against B.D. (62) from Sveti Nikole due to reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “embezzlement.” In the period from December 2022 to December 2025, the reported person, as an employee of the Public Enterprise “Komunalec” – Sveti Nikole, working as a water maintenance worker, and pursuant to an oral order assigned as a collector at the City Market for collecting payments for water bills and funeral services, unlawfully appropriated money from citizens collected on the basis of funeral service bills in the total amount of 82,180 denars.

On 06.09.2026 at around 13:00, the Kriva Palanka Internal Affairs Department was informed that on the Kriva Palanka–Kumanovo road, in the area of the village of Gradec, 50-year-old M.N. from the village of Kutija, Negotino area, while driving a motorcycle with Negotino registration plates, left the road and hit a roadside embankment and a metal pole. As a result of the injuries sustained, the driver died at the scene, and an Emergency Medical Service doctor pronounced him dead. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Kriva Palanka Internal Affairs Department.

On 06.09.2026 at around 16:00, the Skopje Police Department was informed that on Pero Nakov Street in Skopje, a traffic accident occurred between a Seat Leon passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by A.D. (26) from the village of Ržaničino, Skopje area, and a moped with Skopje registration plates, driven by Š.Ќ. (35) from Skopje. In the accident, the moped driver sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Skopje Police Department.

On 07.09.2026 at 01:10 in Kavadarci, police officers from the Kavadarci Internal Affairs Department detained V.G. (37), acting upon a previous report that in his home in Kavadarci he had behaved aggressively, thrown objects at his 31-year-old wife, and threatened her and their minor daughter. After measures were taken and checks were carried out, it was established that V.G. was under the influence of alcohol, that is, a blood alcohol level of 2.97 per mille was measured. He was detained at a police station, the public prosecutor was notified, and following documentation of the incident, an appropriate complaint will be filed against him.

On 06.09.2026 at 08:15, police officers from the Negotino Internal Affairs Department detained S.D. (29) from the village of Vojšanci, Negotino area. He is suspected of having taken metal objects from a construction materials yard owned by a legal entity from Negotino. The items taken were found and returned to the owner. The public prosecutor was notified and, after the incident is fully clarified and documented, an appropriate complaint will be filed.

On 06.09.2026 at 20:55, the Gostivar Internal Affairs Department was informed that on Nikola Parapunov Street in Gostivar, a traffic accident occurred between a BMW passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates, driven by M.Ž. (26) from Gostivar, and a moped with Gostivar registration plates, driven by a 17-year-old from the village of Galate, Gostivar area. In the accident, the minor sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Gostivar Emergency Center. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Gostivar Internal Affairs Department.

On 06.09.2026 at 10:00, the Gostivar Internal Affairs Department was informed that on the Mavrovo Junction–Debar regional road, in the village of Rostuše, at a location called “Rostuški Vitel,” 42-year-old M.P. from Skopje, while driving a Ducati motorcycle with Skopje registration plates, lost control and left the roadway. In the accident, the motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Rostuše Health Center. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Gostivar Internal Affairs Department.

On 06.09.2026 at 16:30, the Ohrid Police Department was informed that Z.S. had behaved aggressively toward his wife and physically assaulted her, and that he had previously been subject to a court order prohibiting him from committing domestic violence. Following the full clarification of the incident, an appropriate complaint will be filed against him.

On 06.09.2026 at 21:25, police officers from the Struga Internal Affairs Department detained Z.V. (35) from the village of Veleshta, acting upon a previous report that he had been aggressive toward members of his family. Following the full clarification of the incident, an appropriate complaint will be filed against him.

On 06.09.2026 at 16:05, the Ohrid Police Department was informed that M.L.C. (72) from Poland, while driving an all-terrain vehicle on an unclassified dirt road near the Ohrid village of Kuratica, lost control and fell. He was transported by an Emergency Medical Service vehicle to the General Hospital in Ohrid, where serious bodily injuries were confirmed.

On 06.09.2026 at 20:40, near a sports hall in Struga, H.K. (26) from the Struga village of Vranishta and Montenegrin citizen B.Č. (25) were detained after they had previously disturbed the public order and peace by engaging in a physical altercation with each other. Following full documentation of the incident, an appropriate complaint will be filed against them.

The Struga Internal Affairs Department filed a criminal complaint against M.M. (39) from the Struga village of Radolišta due to reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “robbery.” In an elevator of a building, he physically assaulted D.M. (40), both from Struga, after which he forcibly took money and a mobile phone from him.

On 06.09.2026 at around 22:00, the Sveti Nikole Internal Affairs Department was informed that on the local road between the villages of Pishirovo and Crnilište, 19-year-old T.D. from the village of Crnilište, Sveti Nikole area, while driving a Seat passenger vehicle with Sveti Nikole registration plates, left the road. As a result of the injuries sustained, T.D. died at the scene. An Emergency Medical Service doctor pronounced her dead, and, upon the order of the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was handed over for an autopsy. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Sveti Nikole Internal Affairs Department.

During the past 24 hours, at different locations throughout the country, police officers detained eight drivers for committing the criminal offense of “reckless driving of a motor vehicle” under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code, namely because they were driving a vehicle without having passed a driving test. Those detained were B.S. (33), E.S. (19) and a 17-year-old, all from the Skopje area, E.Z. (28) from Gostivar, E.M. (25) from a village in the Municipality of Dolneni, J.Ѓ. (41) from the Delčevo area, and a 14-year-old and D.A. (23), both from Kočani. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal complaints will be filed.

On 06.09.2026 at 22:30, a 37-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that she had been physically assaulted by her husband, M.B. (44), in their family home in the Centar area. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.

On 06.09.2026 at 18:30, a 40-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that, at a healthcare facility in the Karpoš area, her husband N.Ќ. had threatened her. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 06.09.2026 at 05:00, the Skopje Police Department was informed by the Idrizovo Penitentiary Institution that D.M. (60) from the Negotino area, an inmate at the institution, had been found dead. An Emergency Medical Service doctor pronounced him dead, with no visible signs of violence, and, following instructions from the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was handed over for an autopsy. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Skopje Police Department.
