At approximately 00:10 on 04.07.2026, the Kratovo Police Department received a report that on the A-2 main road near the village of Stracin, Kratovo area, an Opel Astra passenger vehicle with Kriva Palanka registration plates, driven by N.S. (28) from Kriva Palanka, veered off the roadway and crashed into a concrete safety barrier. N.S. died at the scene, and death was confirmed by an emergency medical doctor. By order of the public prosecutor, the body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. A scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Kratovo Police Department.
On 03.07.2026 at 12:20, the Probishtip Police Department received a report of a traffic accident on the regional road near the village of Buchishte, Probishtip area, involving a Volkswagen Caddy passenger vehicle with Berovo registration plates, driven by N.P. (36) from Probishtip, and a Kia passenger vehicle with Probishtip registration plates, driven by A.M. (32) from Probishtip. In the accident, E.M. (28) from Probishtip, a passenger in the Kia, sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver A.M. sustained bodily injuries. Their injuries were confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Shtip. A scene investigation was conducted by officers from the Probishtip Police Department.
On 03.07.2026 at 15:05, the Skopje Police Department received a report that on Kiril i Metodij Street in Skopje, on a service road leading to a parking area, a Toyota passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by V.D. (71) from the village of Volkovo, struck S.I. (71) from Skopje. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Emergency Center of the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje. A scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Skopje Police Department.
On 03.07.2026 at 22:00, the Skopje Police Department received a report of a traffic accident on Ferid Murati Street in Skopje involving an Audi passenger vehicle with Tetovo registration plates, driven by B.U. (25) from the village of Mala Rečica, Tetovo area, a moped with Skopje registration plates driven by A.R. (23) from Skopje, and an electric scooter whose rider fled the scene. A.R. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the St. Naum Ohridski General Hospital in Skopje. A scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Skopje Police Department.
At approximately 20:00 on 03.07.2026, the body of J.K. (66) from Negotino was found in the waters of the Vardar River in the Negotino area.
Earlier that day, at 15:55, G.K. (42) from Negotino reported to the Negotino Police Department that he suspected his father, J.K. (66), who had gone fishing, had fallen into the Vardar River near the village of Crveni Bregovi after becoming unreachable. While searching for him, he found part of his fishing equipment in the river.
Police officers from the Negotino Police Department, the Territorial Firefighting Unit, the Protection and Rescue Directorate, and other individuals immediately launched a search operation. At approximately 20:00, the body was located and recovered from the river. An emergency medical doctor confirmed death with no signs of violence. By order of the public prosecutor, the body was transferred for an autopsy.
On 03.07.2026 at 14:53, the St. Naum Ohridski General Hospital in Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that a 12-year-old boy from Skopje had been admitted with injuries inflicted by a sharp object.
According to the report, the injuries were inflicted by another juvenile at around 13:00 the same day in the Shuto Orizari area.
In connection with the same incident, at 23:55 on 03.07.2026, S.A. (36) from Skopje reported to the Shuto Orizari Police Station that her minor son had also been physically assaulted by four juveniles, one of whom injured him with a sharp object.
Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.
On 03.07.2026 at 10:30 in Radovish, police officers from the Radovish Police Department arrested R.L. (72) from Radovish.
According to the report, at around 22:00 on 02.07.2026, a gunshot was heard on Blagoj Mucheto Street in Radovish, after which a dead dog was found on the street.
Following investigative measures, police established that R.L. had shot the dog. During an official interview, he admitted the offense. The Zastava M75 hunting rifle used in the incident, which he legally possessed, was seized.
A food and veterinary inspector, a veterinarian, and officers from the Radovish Police Department conducted a scene investigation and established that the dog belonged to D.M. from Radovish.
A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Strumica was informed, and criminal charges will be filed against R.L. upon completion of the investigation.
On 03.07.2026 at 12:00, the Strumica Police Station received a report that on Goce Delchev Boulevard in Strumica, a Škoda passenger vehicle with Strumica registration plates, driven by N.H. (67) from Strumica, struck L.C. (64) from Strumica.
The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Strumica Medical Center.
A scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Strumica Police Station.
On 03.07.2026 at 20:35, the Probishtip Police Department received a report from Emergency Medical Services that J.K. (45) from Kratovo had been admitted with injuries.
According to the report, he sustained the injuries while performing work duties at a mine in the Probishtip area.
A scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Probishtip Police Department.
On 02.07.2026 at 15:00, the Sveti Nikole Police Department received a report that public order had been disturbed in the yard of a house in the village of Amzabegovo, Sveti Nikole area, following a physical altercation between G.S. (45) and M.T. (67), both from Amzabegovo, during which G.S. used a hard object.
Appropriate charges will be filed upon completion of the investigation.
On 03.07.2026 at 16:40, officers of the Ohrid Police Department arrested E.S. (26) from Struga after he physically assaulted a police officer on Makedonski Prosvetiteli Boulevard in Ohrid.
In connection with the same incident, B.K. (28) from Ohrid, who was accompanying E.S., was also detained for insulting police officers and failing to comply with their lawful orders.
Appropriate charges will be filed upon completion of the investigation.
On 03.07.2026 at 14:45, the Ohrid Police Department received a report of a traffic accident on Makedonski Prosvetiteli Boulevard involving a parked Kia passenger vehicle previously driven by A.A. (58), an electric Yadea moped driven by I.N. (39), and pedestrian S.A. (56), all from Ohrid.
The moped struck the pedestrian, who sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the St. Erasmus Hospital in Ohrid.
A scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Ohrid Police Department.
On 03.07.2026 at 17:20, the Ohrid Police Department received a report of a traffic accident at the intersection of Makedonski Prosvetiteli Boulevard and Dimitar Vlahov Street in Ohrid involving a bicycle ridden by a 15-year-old boy from Ohrid and a passenger vehicle that left the scene.
The minor sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at St. Erasmus Hospital in Ohrid.
Following investigative measures, police located the Volkswagen Tiguan with Ohrid registration plates involved in the accident, as well as its driver M.D. (65) from Ohrid. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol concentration equivalent to 0.7‰.
By order of the public prosecutor, a scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Ohrid Police Department.
Police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested A.B. from Skopje after acting upon a report filed on 02.07.2026 at 23:00 by V.K. (19) from Skopje, who stated that at around 20:30 in the Bit Pazar area, while he was with his brother and a friend waiting to meet another person, A.B. arrived accompanied by another individual and threatened them.
Following the report, police carried out investigative measures, searched A.B.'s home, and arrested him after he attempted to flee. During an official interview, he admitted committing the offense.
Appropriate charges will be filed upon completion of the investigation.
On 03.07.2026 at 13:35, the Skopje Police Department received a report from an elementary school in the Gjorche Petrov area stating that between 04:00 and 05:00 on 03.07.2026, the entrance doors of the school's sports hall had been forcibly damaged.
Two fire extinguishers were taken from the building and discharged in the schoolyard, where textbooks stolen from the school were set on fire.
A scene investigation was carried out, and measures are being taken to identify the perpetrators.

On 02.07.2026 at 23:40, B.K. (44) from the Skopje area reported to the Skopje Police Department that at around 23:00 near the location known as Vrapche in the Drachevo area, his 15-year-old son had been physically assaulted by N.D. (41) from the village of Batinci.

On 02.07.2026, the Skopje Police Department received a report that at around 15:30 in the Gjorche Petrov area, public order had been disturbed following a traffic-related dispute that escalated into a physical altercation between M.G. (30) on one side and A.D. (51) and S.J. (21) on the other, all from Skopje.
