(61) from Skopje due to reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense “assault on an official while performing security duties.” On 12.06.2026, at the Police Station in Makedonski Brod, the reported individual physically attacked a police officer who was performing official duties.

On 30.06.2026 at 11:32 in SIA Štip, the Clinical Hospital Štip reported that a 39-year-old convicted inmate from the Kavadarci area had been brought in from the Štip Correctional Facility. According to the report, inside the institution a 59-year-old convicted inmate from the Strumica area committed rape against the victim. The public prosecutor has been informed, and after full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will follow.
On 01.07.2026 at 13:50 in Zherovjane, police officers from the Zherovjane Police Unit deprived M.M. (64) of liberty, acting on a prior report from his cousin M.M. (57) from the village of Tenovo, Tetovo region, that around 11:40 he had physically attacked him in his yard and threatened him with a sharp object. On 01.07.2026 at 23:55 in Gostivar, police officers from the OVR Gostivar deprived N.Š. (38) of liberty, acting on a prior report from his cousin E.Š. (38) from Gostivar, that around 23:10 in Gostivar, following a prior dispute, he physically attacked him using a sharp object. On 01.07.2026 at 16:20 on the Ohrid–Podmolje road, near the “St. Erasmus” junction, a passenger vehicle “Opel” with Struga license plates, driven by S.M. (70) from the village of Podgorci, Struga region, left the roadway and hit a metal electricity pole. The driver, as well as two minors aged 14 and 16 from the village of Podgorci, were transported to the “St. Erasmus” hospital in Ohrid, where they were diagnosed with serious bodily injuries. By order of the public prosecutor, an on-site investigation was carried out by police teams.
On 02.07.2026 at 01:00, police officers from the OVR Demir Hisar on “Bitolska” Street in Demir Hisar deprived G.S. (41) and T.I. (37), both from the village of Arvati, Resen region, of liberty. During a vehicle inspection of a “Peugeot” with Resen license plates driven by G.S., two hunting rifles in a case were found, for which the individuals did not possess permits, as well as 16 rounds of ammunition. (19), a citizen of Italy, of liberty because she physically attacked a police officer while official duties were being performed. During the measures taken, it was determined that the person did not have regulated residence in the country. After full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against G.F.

On 01.07.2026 at 22:35 in SIA Skopje, it was reported that in the area of Šuto Orizari, within the premises of a waste management company, a working machine—a excavator—was set on fire. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Protection Brigade. No injuries were reported.
