Excerpt from part of the daily events 21.11.2025

The Prilep Internal Affairs Department (OVR Prilep) filed criminal charges against M.G. (37) from Prilep on the grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence “unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 18.11.2025, at the entrance to Bitola, police officers conducted a search of a taxi vehicle transporting two persons, during which methamphetamine was found and seized from them, which they had previously obtained from the reported suspect.

The Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards at the Ministry of Internal Affairs submitted criminal charges to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Veles against N.T. on grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence “negligent performance of duty.” The suspect, acting as an independent referent–inspector in the Section for Weapons, Explosives and Hazardous Materials at SVR Veles, and handling a case for seizure of a firearm and firearm permit from an individual under administrative procedure, even though the legally prescribed deadline had expired, unlawfully repeated the procedure and issued a decision to terminate it, despite the fact that the State Commission for Administrative Procedure, Labor Disputes and Second-Instance Inspection Oversight had already issued a decision instructing the individual to initiate an administrative dispute before the competent Administrative Court. With these actions, the suspect enabled the individual to have the seized firearm and permit returned. The Department will also submit a proposal for initiating disciplinary proceedings and will impose the mandatory measure of temporary removal from the workplace.

OVR Prilep submitted a report against K.S. (19), A.R. (24) and two 17-year-olds, all from Prilep, on grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence “serious bodily injury.” On 25.09.2025, at the “Metodija Andonov–Chento” Square in Prilep, the suspects physically assaulted a person, inflicting serious bodily injury.

SVR Skopje filed criminal charges against B.R. (25), R.M. (49), Sh.M. (49) and V.T. (27), all from Skopje, on grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence “robbery.” On 30.10.2025 in Skopje, the suspects used physical force and threatened the victim with a firearm, taking 188,600 denars and a mobile phone.

On 20/21.11.2025 in Skopje, at various locations, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested A.Sh. (29) from the village of Idrizovo, Skopje region, and Sh.R. (19), S.S. (30), E.S. (19) and I.E. (27), all from Skopje, after brown solid material and marijuana were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will follow.

On 20.11.2025 at 07:10, it was reported to SVR Skopje that at the intersection of “Filip II Makedonski” Street and a service street in Skopje, a “Volkswagen” passenger vehicle with Skopje licence plates driven by S.M. (62) hit pedestrian M.K. (46) from Skopje. M.K. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the City General Hospital “St. Naum Ohridski” in Skopje. An on-site inspection was conducted by an investigative team from SVR Skopje.

On 20.11.2025 at 20:05, it was reported to SVR Bitola that on “Karposh” Street in Bitola, an “Opel” passenger vehicle with Bitola licence plates, driven by P.V. (30), struck 62-year-old S.G. from Bitola. S.G. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at Bitola Clinical Hospital. An on-site inspection was carried out upon order of a public prosecutor.

SVR Strumica – OVR Gevgelija submitted criminal charges against I.S. (34) from Novo Dojran, suspected that on 20.11.2025, in an area near a village in the municipality of Dojran, he committed rape on a 25-year-old woman. I.S. was arrested and brought before a judge at the Basic Court Gevgelija, who ordered detention.

OVR Kičevo submitted criminal charges against R.O. (57) from the Kičevo village of Dlapkin Dol and a legal entity registered in the same village, on grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence “illegal construction.” The first-reported suspect, acting as manager of the legal entity and investor, during the construction of a residential building in the “Kasarna Block 1” neighbourhood in Kičevo, acted contrary to the issued building permit by unlawfully constructing an additional floor and attic above the approved fifth floor.

The Struga External Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against B.Sh. (50) from the Struga region on grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence “endangering safety.” The suspect physically assaulted his 47-year-old wife in their family home.

On 20.11.2025 at 14:30, L.F. (69) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that between April 2025 and 20.11.2025, two busts had been stolen from a grave site at the Butel City Cemetery in Skopje. Measures are being taken to resolve the case.

On 20.11.2025 at 19:50, it was reported that in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, following previously disturbed family relations, public order and peace were disturbed through a physical altercation between S.I. (52) and O.A. (40), both from Skopje. After full documentation, an appropriate report will follow.

On 20.11.2025 at 22:50, S.I. (56) from Skopje reported that around 16:00 in the Karpoš area of Skopje, while performing work duties as an employee of the Public Enterprise “Komunalna Higiena”, he was physically assaulted by his colleague A.N. (35) from the village of Grčec, Skopje region, who also used a hard object. After documentation, an appropriate submission will follow.

On 20.11.2025 at 23:40, police officers from SVR Skopje located A.H. (13), who had been reported missing on 12.11.2025 by a state child-care institution. The minor was returned to the institution.

On 20.11.2025 at 23:15, the Emergency Center at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje reported that a 46-year-old woman, M.I. from Skopje, had been brought in with bodily injuries sustained around 22:00 during a concert at the Cultural Information Center in Skopje, when a ventilation grid fell from the ceiling onto her. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
