On 10 July 2026 at 7:05 p.m., the Sveti Nikole Police Department received a report that a Peugeot passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by I.J. (41) from Skopje, had veered off the Miladinovci–Shtip motorway. The driver sustained serious injuries, confirmed at the Shtip Clinical Hospital. A police inspection was carried out by officers from the Sveti Nikole Police Department.

On 10 July 2026 (the report states 2027, apparently a typographical error) at 6:35 p.m., the Prilep Police Department received a report of a traffic accident on the local road near the village of Seltse, Prilep area, involving a Volvo passenger vehicle with Prilep registration plates driven by V.N. (46) from Prilep and a Shineray moped with Prilep registration plates ridden by A.P. (77) from Prilep, who was found not to possess a valid driving licence. I.R. (68) from Prilep was travelling as a passenger on the moped. The moped rider sustained serious injuries, while the passenger suffered bodily injuries. Both were transported to the Prilep General Hospital by emergency medical services. A police inspection was conducted by officers from the Prilep Police Department.

On 10 July 2026 at 6:51 p.m., the Bitola Sector of Internal Affairs received a report of a traffic accident at the intersection of 1vi Maj Boulevard and Jorgov Kamen Street in Bitola, involving a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Bitola registration plates driven by A.K. (50) from Bitola and a moped ridden by E.A. (20) from Bitola. The moped rider was taken to the Bitola Clinical Hospital, where serious injuries were confirmed. A police inspection was carried out.

On 10 July 2026 at 9:20 a.m., the Ohrid Sector of Internal Affairs received a report that G.K. (62) from Ohrid lost control of his Huatian moped at the roundabout connecting Turistichka Boulevard and Abas Emin Street in Ohrid and fell onto the roadway. He was transported to St. Erasmus Hospital in Ohrid, where serious injuries were confirmed. Police established that he had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.74‰. Following instructions from a public prosecutor, a police inspection was conducted.

On 10 July 2026, the Gostivar Police Department was informed that a person with serious injuries had been admitted to the Gostivar Emergency Centre. Police identified him as D.R. (33) from the village of Dobridol, who stated that he had lost control of his bicycle while riding in the village of Toplica and fell. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to the Skopje Clinical Centre. A police inspection was carried out.

Other Incidents

On 11 July 2026 at 1:05 a.m., police officers from the Prilep Police Department arrested P.J. (43) from Slovenia in front of the Prilep municipal building after he removed and set fire to the Municipality of Prilep flag. Appropriate charges will be filed upon completion of the investigation.

On 10 July 2026 at 10:50 p.m., police officers from the Kamenjane Police Unit, acting on a court order, apprehended E.R. (63) from the village of Bogovinje. He was wanted to serve a three-month prison sentence for an offence under Article 284 of the Criminal Code. He was transferred to Tetovo Prison to begin serving the sentence.

On 10 July 2026 at 1:00 p.m., on 18th November Street in Gostivar, police officers arrested F.I. (36) from the village of Vrutok on suspicion of committing several offences of theft and aggravated theft in the Gostivar area. Items originating from the latest theft, committed earlier that day at a market in Gostivar, were found in his possession. Criminal charges will follow after the case is fully documented.

On 10 July 2026, the Veles Sector of Internal Affairs received a report that at around 1:30 p.m. a fire broke out on a grassy area near a parking lot on Petre Prlichko Street in Veles. The fire spread and damaged a Toyota owned by S.Ќ.N. (40) and a Škoda owned by D.T. (53), both with Veles registration plates. There were no injuries. The fire was extinguished by passers-by and firefighters from the Veles Territorial Fire Brigade. A police inspection was carried out.

On 10 July 2026 at 11:46 p.m., the Struga Police Department arrested N.Ch. (43) from Struga on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of endangering the safety of a public official on 15 Korpus Street in Struga. Appropriate charges will be filed after the investigation is completed.

On 11 July 2026 at 1:30 a.m., M.P. (73) from Skopje reported that, in the Centar municipality, an individual used physical force to steal personal jewellery from him. Measures are being taken to identify the perpetrator.

On 10 July 2026 at 9:45 p.m., A.A. (40) from the Skopje area reported that at around 9:00 p.m., while working at a company in the village of Glumovo, he heard a loud noise, went outside and found two plastic bottles containing liquid along with pieces of a firecracker. Police are investigating the incident.

On 10 July 2026 at 12:20 p.m., N.S. (44) from the village of Dolno Lisiche reported finding a stray bullet inside his home. Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances.

On 10 July 2026 at 6:00 p.m., police received a report that, following a traffic accident in the Gjorche Petrov municipality of Skopje, public order was disturbed by a physical altercation between G.B. (60), N.B. (31) and S.B. (36), all from Skopje, on one side, and O.A. (35), P.A. (23) and Sh.A. (63), all from the village of Buković, on the other. Appropriate measures will follow after the case is documented.

At around 2:05 p.m. on 10 July 2026, police received a report that I.I. (52) from Kumanovo had fallen from a height while carrying out construction work on a building under construction in the Gazi Baba municipality of Skopje. An emergency medical doctor confirmed his death at the scene. Police officers attended the scene, and a labour inspector was notified.

At around 10:45 a.m. on 10 July 2026, Idrizovo Prison reported that a prison officer working in the semi-open department of the correctional facility had been physically assaulted by inmate T.P. (35) from Skopje while performing his official duties. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the incident.
