On January 17 and 18, 2024, the 24th Meeting of the Executive Board of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) was held in Doha, Qatar.
The delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) participated, consisting of the Assistant Minister of the Training Center, Suza Trajkovska, the Head of the Department for Multilateral Cooperation, Imran Jonuzi, and the Head of the Department for Bilateral Cooperation, Dragica Manevska.
Also, at a personal invitation from the Director of the Police Academy of Qatar, the Macedonian delegation attended the ceremonial event on the occasion of the graduation of the police cadet class.
At the Executive Board Meeting, the MIA delegation, as members of the board, supported the implementation of the planned events for the period 2024-2026, the proposed Training Program with the possibility of our contribution in cooperation areas according to the benefits the participants will receive, as well as support for the Exchange Program of participants in the trainings planned for 2024.
During the meeting, it was adopted that during 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia will host the first joint international Workshop within INTERPA.
