From November 7 to November 9, 2023, a delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, led by Ms. Suza Trajkovska—Assistant Minister at the Training Center—conducted a study visit to the Police Academy in Ankara, Republic of Turkey, which includes academies and training centers within its structure.
During the study visit, individual working meetings were held with the senior management of the National Police Academy in Ankara, notably a meeting with the Director Prof. Dr. Yilmaz Çolak and his team of department directors. Additionally, a visit was made to the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy, the Department for Combating Smuggling and Organized Crime – the International Academy TADOC, as well as the Police Professional Training Center in Aykut.
During the study visit, experiences in the field of police training were exchanged, and discussions were held on further enhancing mutual cooperation through the exchange of training personnel, curricula, conducting joint trainings, and supporting the development of training catalogs.
